"Chris Barton, Lonna Barton and Hall then get ready to leave the hotel room to buy drugs, but the informant says he wants to stay back to try to calm down from some drugs that he had taken previously. At that point, Lonna Barton makes a comment about calming down.
“Well, when he died, you know how they told me to slow my heart rate down? Like how to calm yourself or whatever? Start at like 60 and just start counting backwards,” Lonna Barton says. “Close your eyes while you’re doing it. Kinda like sit back in the chair, kinda with your eyes closed. It really will slow your heart rate down; you are thinking about something else.”"

These losers are great examples to show what drugs can do to your brain. These parents were more concerned about shooting up than their missing baby. IMO they had no concern over Lonzie because they knew what happened to him and were part of the planning to rid themselves of him. Scary to think there are many more people just like them with children. While many wouldn't murder their children, their children are growing up in households with low life scumbags just like these losers. And people want marijuana legalized? :notgood: Gateway drug IMO.

I can barely understand anything being said. So sad that they don't mention Lonzie, or their daughter. Unbelievable. Most mothers of missing children barely function. She seems perfectly content, laughing telling stories, getting high, etc. Evil or drugs? Probably both.

Ebron is expected back in court Tuesday for his attempted escape charges. Lauramore Barton is expected back in court for a final pretrial hearing on Dec. 3.
If they waived their appearances, was there not court? The article doesn't say if anything happened.
