I did a marathon back to back of all the podcasts and previous news articles through late last night while keeping an eye on the news. Just a sad mix of things that led to LE thinking that he may have not been a victim of foul play, as AM also said at the very end of Episode 7 she didn't believe that someone killed him or met met with foul play. (That was a few months back) The episode you may be referring to at

<But Nancy also asked Amanda how come Chase was still having these episodes if he was taking the medication. Amanda said that they kept changing his medication because it wasn't working. So technically we don't know what medication he was prescribed and taken in the days leading up to his disappearance. >
I know that there are folks here who are in the know as to the dangers of these medications, and just them on their own.. from other cases. And when I heard her say that I :thinking: that perhaps that, in addition to the other circumstances of his disappearance, also initially led LE to agree with AM in that it was not foul play.
<These medications do more harm if the patient isn't taking it the way they should, not just when they are having an episode and think starting it back up again. People who have these disorders also have a love hate relationship with their maintenance medication. They start to feel better and within a couple of months they are back to their normal selves and their relationships are getting better as well so often we see people stopping their medications and then the episodes start.>
