I believe that there was another girl that was harassed by CBR while he was driving his car. It was not admissible in court.

I wonder IF/WHEN would we hear of any past criminal or stalking evidence.
I would think, after MT's incidence, his violent streak has been in action in the past years.

Pity taxpayers will pay for his upkeep for a long time.
Hope for 'Life in Prison' for CBR and constantly hearing of his downhill run.

That was the only time I saw him respectful, when he nodded in acknowledgement as the verdict was read.

I don't think he cares much about his family either, other than what they think of him. It's interesting that apparently not one person in his family, or anyone at all, was in the overflow room for the defense to watch the trial.

CBR's attorney Jennifer Frese responded to that comment during the presser. She said they are a hard-working family and do not have the benefit of traveling to the distant county or extended time off but have been following the live stream trial remotely. She went on to say their meetings with his family always included at least 8 persons that were supporting him (and paying his legal bill, apparently).

I've went back to the beginning of Molly's forums and tried to read many of the early posts. What a sad story for all, of course for Molly's family and friends, but also for the people who were accused of her disappearance. From the Jack brothers, to the pig farmer. The relentless suspicions cast at me would certainly cause me to withdraw forever.

I wanted to read how old CBR was, it seems he is now 24, and his ex-gf was 17 when she lived with him? It seems he thought he was quite the man, to date and bed young females, and they would all be happy with that. Another person who thinks only about him, and gives no thought about anyone else. So, in hindsight, the truth about him and Molly's murder at his hands doesn't surprise me. Nor his non-reaction to the guilty verdict today. He must still think in his mind that he will be free someday. Sorry that he doesn't understand life without parole means never going free. MOO.

There was absolutely no eye contact or interaction between CBR and his attorneys at any after the verdict was read, including when CBR being handcuffed and escorted out of the courtroom.
I noticed this, as well. Most attorneys speak to the client in the court room after the verdict. Odd, very odd ...

Pure speculation here. BUT I’m for sure this isn’t his first sexual harassment….doesn’t take no for an answer incident (iirc there was incidents previously that were not allowed in court). This *may* have been his first murder. We honestly don’t know. But I’m
Very glad they found/charged him when they did. Just going on his demeanor….he seems the type that this crime would lead to an escalation. Another assault/death….than it would to him laying low after Mollie. Once again, all speculation but that’s how I see him and the situation at hand.

We very well could hear from that other girl at sentencing or from any others that he harrassed. That information is admissible in a sentencing context. But it may not matter. I don't think there is much chance he will receive any sentence other than life without parole. This was a pretty horrific and violent crime and he clearly has zero remorse.

They did interview her. But that would not be admissible. It is a separate incident and can't be used to imply he did the same here. Sometimes you can this evidence in if you can show a consistent pattern of behavior. But since this just one other incident, that isn't enough. I'm sure CBR did similar things to other women, but we just don't know.
Several women supported my earlier theory: They said they liked him - he was always calm, well-spoken, friendly but then they'd catch him oddly staring but would dismiss it. They explained that not until he was arrested would they ever have come forward because he might be odd but never thought him capable of murder. I recall one mother saying many guys creep out young women but that doesn't mean they're killers. MOO

I think the Prosecution did do a great job. I really think the law enforcement people are the ones that did a fantastic job here. Not giving up, being thorough, finding those videos, watching hour after hour of nothing and finally noticing that car.

I hope Logan, with the cameras is rewarded.
It is this evidence that 'started the ball rolling'.
Great it is known by all, and surely he will be happy.:):):)

I joined this group for Laci Peterson...and then Jennifer Dulos...and then Mollie Tibbets. I am happy for the verdict of CBR...but am sad for her family that Mollie is gone. Fly high with the Angels, Mollie...you were and are loved.

Ironic but for some reason Mollie reminds me of a young Laci.
She smiled with her entire body like sweet vibrant Laci .

MOO

He said Mollie made him mad. I suspect the truth is that women make him mad. He was angry IMO before he got in his car.

He might've become the scariest serial predator of them all. He was always so quiet....

Quietly seething below the surface. With a new camo-handled knife in his pocket.

JMO

If I could love your post instead of like it. I would. This, this and if I haven’t emphasized it enough. This.

Their claim that they wanted it to be his testimony in his own words was a lie as well. He didn’t actually testify except to say yes to the statements Mrs Frese was saying.
Just one more example of how very lenient Judge Yates was with the defense. IMO, he really went out of his way allowing them room to maneuver when he did not have to. I think it was very frustrating to Scott Brown -- yet he understood why. MOO

I thought that was a bit strange too. The verdict read, court adjourned, the attorneys packed up and headed out. You'd think they would give him a hug, tell him "we'll keep working" etc, give him some comfort, something. Nope.

I thought that was strange as well, and thought that maybe his attorneys had previously talked to him about leaving the court room right after the verdict and then meeting with him in his holding area after he was led away. But then they did a media interview right after, so they didn't go to be with their client right away, and make plans for next steps. Perhaps they did this later, but their client certainly wasn't their priority, the media was.

The Judge really did give the Defense a lot of breaks. they will appeal based on the Miranda mess-up and admissibility of the evidence after that but it isn't going to work. CBR led them to the body and was re-mirandized etc. The blood in the trunk is all good. I'm sure this was a bit frustrating for Brown and his team. I'm sure he was really frustrated by the Miranda screw up. There is no excuse for that. But he worked around it all.
