Ya i'm thinking i may even be a little uhh hesitant yet alone my kids being out there by them selves. Especially with all the big gaps and rotted railroad ties

If the suspect's DNA is available there is a new process called phenotyping that can generate a facial image simply based on the DNA profile.

It is an amazing process still in its infancy but holds much promise.

Here is a link to their site and some sample images.

Yes, on iphones you can turn on or off the ability for others to see if you've read a message - it put "read" under the message bubble in the same place it puts "delivered" when you send a text to someone

Does anybody not think this is what could be sticking out of jacket? Only one way to conceal them and that's prob across your body under clothing they don't just fold up.

Haven't figured out the pic process yet but here

Ok peeps do u really want your kids out here?
Without you?

I don't want myself on that bridge. I can barely watch videos going over it. HOWEVER they both had local parents who probably grew up walking that bridge.

I really don't think the safety of the bridge was a factor though.

I doubt a gun as used because LE hasn't said to consider him armed and dangerous. USUALLY THAT comes when talking about a suspect, along with the warning do not approach. Knives, not so much.

why cant i use space bar when i quote something to reply?
That bridge is so scary. i would not go over that. the girls seem to be at the begining or the end of it and i can understand them messing about on there as kids would. he looks like he's in the middle of it.

Does anyone have a link to the press conference???

It's a great development unfortunately it is very expensive and not routinely done by police forces.

If people want to submit their DNA for ancestry reasons, let them be (I've done this as well). If parents want to let their kids go hiking in a small town, so be it. We can't make choices for others. The only person we should be criticizing here is the perp, and possibly law enforcement (if something arises), although I think they're doing the best they can right now.

30 minutes to go. I'm so nervous in anticipation of something, ANYTHING new to help catch the killer(s) of A & L

Morning/Afternoon everyone.

Elainera, Kay was right I was in bed, although I had just gone to bed lol and had been lurking on my phone until 4am :p

I'm a little surprised how delapidated that bridge is. Shouldn't the county repair some of those missing railroad ties before letting the public use it.

The thing that makes me think it's *not* a trucker is because 'usually' they don't have time to dilly dally around local trails and sight-see. They have to drop and pick up and get back and do it all over again. I don't know, just thinking out loud.

Just checking in....I hope to watch the PC at 10. Thanks for the links posted above.

I suppose it could have been his day off. JMO

The perp's clothing is surprisingly colour coordinated, blue jeans, blue jacket, brown hat and shoes and thingy at waist.
One might have expected him to be wearing all black, he almost seems dressed middle-of-the-road "respectable", neutral, student.
speculation, imo.

Blue represents authority, structure, communication, dependability, trust and loyalty. Some shades or too much blue can project coldness.

Wear blue when you want to exude power, have mental control, be conservative, respected or communicate an important message. Don't wear blue when you feel isolated, depressed, critical.
Brown is associated with stability, honesty, practicality and commitment. Wear brown when you need to work hard, be a team member or organized. Avoid it when you want to expend energy, play, feel insecure.

The bridge is not part of the trail system and it is owned by the RR
