Margarita - I'm trying to convince myself that DN is BG - but I still live in fear every day and night.

I will join you in the cleansing.

No one can blame you. I'm nowhere near by, and I get an upset stomach thinking about it. It will all be over very soon Rott Mom. God Bless you!

While investigating the question of why Colorado and why the Monument area north of Colorado Springs, I found articles about the burgeoning homeless camps surrounding Colorado Springs area.
In the speculation of why the growth in recent years, the ideas were that people come for the legal marijuanna and for the promise of jobs, especially in construction. Knowing that DN was possibly doing construction in Indiana, maybe that was his goal in Colorado?
At any rate, here are some interesting articles and maps from the Colorado Springs/Monument area about homeless camps.

The most direct route from Colorado Springs to Woodland park is via the Mt. Herman road. Woodland park has a lot of drug rehab places as well as a lot of drugs.
Mt.Herman road is narrow, twisting, and dirt/gravel. DN said he got run off the road by someone and shook his fist at them. I wonder if he was coming down the road going towards Monument, and TW was going up the road on his bike, and DN swerved off the road. Given his hair trigger anger, maybe he went to enact revenge on TW... If he thought TW was a woman, that would make it even more enraging, in my opinion.

Thank you very much for your response and taking the time to look at this.

You hit 2 important nails on he head I think which is legal weed and our ever multiplying homeless population. Never seen anything like it anywhere else...here so many they literally travel in packs. I actually know a few 9f them, as I've taken the time to talk to them, and they've taken the time to talk to me.

Former prosecutor says Nations interview is 'critical job' for Delphi investigators

Sarah Hunter, Martinsville, worked with Nations and his wife and said she wouldn't put it past Nations to plot an alibi.

"In a way, it almost makes it seem like it's not suspicious because he went out of his way to drive all night to make sure he was here,” said Hunter. “He couldn't be connected there. He seems like that kind of a person, but for him to go out of his way to do what he might've done, that's just crazy to me. I really did not expect that in life, to know somebody who could've done it."
an hour and a half drive is not driving all night... she's confused

Oh my gosh "it will be over soon", that just almost made me start balling. I'm holding back tears.

What an absolute niiiiightmare. This might have to be my last case...

What does she mean by drive all night??? I thought it was only like two hours from Delphi to Martinsville.

I had a hard time understanding what she said. I'm still not sure I understand ;)

When will we find out if DN is charged with TW's murder? I feel so bad, all I'm concentrating on is Abby and Libby when there is potentially another victim of DN. RIP TW.

For all of us because I think we need it tonight: Leonard Cohen's own Hallelujah.

Absolutely beautiful - thank you. I think we needed that.

I'm glad Colorado LE got involved or we may have never heard of DN. Sgt. Riley in an interview said now that it's a big story in Colorado, now it's a big story here. (needle scratch across record) Sorry Sarge,it was already a big story here.

I think we are all going to need a group hug and a toast to Abigail and Liberty if this is confirmed. I will never forget this case.

God Bless you too - thank you for caring so much about these girls.

Man I want to cry. 5 years carbuff in 5 days.

Sorry to derail (gonna take a walk).

Hugs Margarita, I lurked during Jessica's case. It changed me forever. I pray for everyone who waits to to hear of justice for these two beautiful children from Delphi. I also pray for DN's children, they are innocent of this whole mess, and I hope theyhave a safe place to rest their heads tonight. No child deserves to grow up in that chaos.

If DN and family arrived in Colorado in May, with a newborn in tow, that makes for really complicated living out of a car or in homeless shelters/camps.
(baby born end of April, from what I understand).

KN's family said they lost touch with her a year ago, when she went back with DN. http://www.america.easybranches.com...-area-hatchet-threats-against-cyclists-145027
Katelyn's family told the Gazette they hadn't seen or spoken to her in a year, after she decided to resume her relationship with Nations. Katelyn remained in contact with a Gazette reporter Thursday, but did not agree to comment.
No-contact order 2015, expired April 2016. DN convicted of domestic violence in front of a minor in March, 2016. Baby born end of April 2017. Guessing that after the felony conviction, DN convinced her to get back together with him because "he had changed." Lots of red flags about victims of domestic violence here. Very sad.

Also, from several news sources, KN said she had a 22 rifle in the trunk. Now the media may have heard "22" and automatically put "rifle" with it, we don't know. One source: https://epeak.info/2017/09/28/daniel-nations-5-fast-facts-you-need-to-know/
Katelyn Nations told police she had a .22 rifle in the car’s trunk.

For reference, murder accountability project, murderdata.org iirf, will double check and link and edit as necessary could be a useful link to those tracking crimes at other known geopoints as related to DN.

Off topic: Did you have a "good" walk?

We won't forget Jessica - you have a heart of gold.

Love you guys. All I have is sadness is here right now. Like a couple posters yesterday, the excitement has turned to somber (I'm obv on some kind of delayed reaction meter lol). Trying to keep the academic posts going otherwise I'll just sit here and cry lol.

CBS Denver said Tim’s body was found at the intersection of two roads (Mt. Herman and Sunburst Dr). This intersection is paved and very close to homes.

A mountain biker site states that Tim wasn’t actually found at that intersection. He was found off a wilderness trail (in the vicinity of Mt Herman Rd and Sunburst Dr.) and was partially buried. (Could be similar to the Delphi murders)
https://www.singletracks.com/blog/m...ountain-biker-near-monument-co-investigation/

The man who was threatening people with an axe was also on Mr. Herman Road in Monument, CO.

Monument, CO is about 20 miles north of Colorado Springs and 90 south of Denver. It is very rural and has 6500 people.
I wonder why DN chose to relocate or hide there?

Thank you for the links. I went off this deep end for a while, and spent time looking at maps. DN was stopped (in red car with his family) in Woodland, CO. That is on the other side of the mountains, via Mt. Herman Road, from Monument/Colorado Springs. Specifically, it is about 20 miles, and a trip of a bit over an hour on that road.
