I think there is actually something going on in Tennessee and they don't want to release too much information at this time. But it's very rare we hear anything about movement in this case, so I think it leaked out and there probably is movement. Hope so! jmo

I totally agree. They may be doing some damage control because they released more info than they intended to, but naming a specific county means something. Also interesting there is a former fugitive caught in the same county in July, who happens to be from IN, who bears a resemblance to BG. I had seen him before. There are rumors about him elsewhere online today, but I know we cannot discuss rumors here.

JMO that a witness is most often someone who witnessed a crime occurring.

We don't have a suitable word to describe someone who later observed who police believe to be the suspect but in the true sense, they were not an eyewitness to the crime.

Yes we do its "Witness".
In Court we have a defendant, victim and witnesses. Witnesses to the crime, witnesses to events before and after, expert witnesses and police witnesses to procedures. Libby's sister's and father would be such witnesses to events before and after in order to tie down the time and duration of the crime for example.

I hope everyone following this case has an opportunity to view the show.

After mention of the possible Tenn connection by MK, it appeared to me Spr Carter was genuinely caught off guard about that because (paraphrasing) he said he wasn't aware of the Tenn lead and went on to stress they were looking for tips nationally. When asked about progress solving the case, he said although they appreciated all the tips already received, he sort of shrugged then said "this is why we're here".

Both Libby's sister and Abby's mom mentioned the possibility that after "down the hill", Libby fought the perp, possibly to protect Abby, who might've been injured. And that the girls stayed together even though one might've had an opportunity to escape, as has been stated in the past.

MP agreed the suspect appeared to be overdressed considering the warm Feb day. Thought he may have arrived by bicycle or motorcycle.

They also spoke very highly about their trust and confidence in both LE and the investigation.

It was an excellent interview I thought. No insinuation whatsoever that LE is building a case against anyone. Cpr Carter and the family members are appealing to the public for tips to solve the case, much like by their appearance last month on Dr Phil.

Yes- sounds like the same guy. What was unusual was the side-by-side photo of him and the BG sketch. That caught my attention because of the repeated warnings of ISP NOT to post side-by-side comparisons.

If we are talking about the same guy, his eyes were described as hazel in the article I read.

My personal experience, eyes change color. My sister was so angry one time that her eyes literally turned demon-like. Eyes went from hazel to black...
I’m shocked they ever put that comment out there. Especially since people can wear colored contacts etc.

Adding one thing to my version of a brief summary. MK asked about age but Cpr Carter didn't give any specific category other than (iirc) to say the suspect was an adult. No other mention about physical details. I think that's a wise thing considering almost a year has passed, on the chance the sketch isn't as accurate as initially hoped.

You're addressing my posted opinion? Yes, indeed I'm aware the word "witness" has various definitions and it's my opinion Spr Carter was referring to there was no witness to the actual murder.
