Trying to go back to the beginning, as I ponder this case for the millionth time. Refresh my memory, we know that LE impounded/searches RL’s truck for evidence (no I don’t think RL is BG). It’s been months and tons of threads so I honestly can’t remember, but we never found out if anything came of that, did we? I remember some suggesting that perhaps RL picked up a hitchhiker (BG). Did anyone have an opinion on that? I think some have suggested the sketch even came from RL. This probably won’t help bring us closer to whodunnit but something that creeped back into my brain as I read through today’s posts about LE saying early on that BG was probably walking.

I am wondering if RL gave BG a ride to Americus where RL had his pizza and brews @ Pizza King.

Then I started thinking maybe BG hanging at the property at 1100 block Bicycle Rd. went to the trail and murdered the girls on Ron's property and got a ride down to Americus with Ron. Perhaps I truly am losing my mind.

Has anyone suggested a motorcycle? Sunny in the 40s that day. I can imagine with BG's gait from the pics...Motorcycle rider with previously healed fracture or break of the femur.

You’re correct that it was a tip that prompted the SW according to MSM at the time.

“DELPHI, Ind.-- Indiana State Police served a search warrant Thursday in connection with the deaths of two Delphi teenagers.

Police say they acted on a tip they got and searched the home on Bicycle Bridge Road. No arrests have been made.”

I wonder why, though, would BG walk from one residence to another? How would he know RL was out of town?

CBS4 also asked whether the killer fled in a vehicle or did he simply walk away?

Carter answered, "Um, likely. Walked a certain distance, yes. We don't have any indication that he was close by where he parked a vehicle, because we don't have any information on a vehicle."

IMO this would not be possible. Google is very strict with subpoenas, just like Apple. You can read about their processes here, and it sounds like they aim to side with the consumer as much as possible where privacy is concerned. https://support.google.com/transparencyreport/answer/7381738?hl=en

It’s a really slippery slope for google, like Apple, because a phrase like “parks near delphi” could point to a bunch of IP addresses, most likely innocent people. How many people would ever google anything if they knew that an innocent search for a park could land them in questioning for a double homicide?

On another note, if the person was not local, I wonder if they could do a Google maps warrant to get information on anyone who searched for “parks near Delphi” or similar things to try to see if maybe someone from out of town was looking for that type of place. I do suspect however that the person did now the area quite well so this is probably a dead end also.

I think he was actually hanging out at 11036 Bicycle Rd , The property had at least 2 outbuildings and an abandoned car. So vice versa ....he was there went to the bridge to source , saw the Girls words were exchanged, pissed him off..then we know what happened, RL was not home or he gave this Guy a ride to Americus. Now that RL is out of Jail perhaps he can shed light on this theory.
 
I think the towers pinged everywhere in Delphi looking for signals. Interesting how they are going to upgrade the trail, to include cameras and a new Tower,
 
We now know that LE said BG walked a certain distance, no car reported ( Carter) We know that the Girls bodies were found on RL's property. We know that RL was at the recyling depot at Noon, we know that RL was at Pizza King in Americus, right?

I thought he was at the pizza place at least a few weeks after the deaths. MOO

ETA: Found it. "Logan admitted violating his probation and the Court’s no-driving order with less than a month to go when he visited a county waste transfer station the day Libby German and Abby Williams were murdered, their bodies found on his property the next day, and two weeks later when he was spotted drinking a beer at a Tippecanoe County pizza restaurant."

Nothing came of the SW on Bicycle Rd. I found it interesting that the FBI searched the Winnebago and the wooden shed on the property. Were they looking for a potential crime scene?

As far as I know, the only other publicized Search Warrant was served in Peru, IN. I was able to track it down to the 200 Block of W Canal. When looking on GE, there are very few properties on the 200 block of W Canal. The search occurred on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017.

Perhaps we should keep in mind that there may be those who wished to cause their potential enemies a little trouble so they tipped them to LE merely to hassle someone in particular.

After conducting the search, however, FBI do not believe the man has any ties to the case, he [FBI Special Agent Bob Ramsey] said.

"We in no way believe he is connected to the murder of those girls," Ramsey said.

Strangely that narrow area I marked in red in the Beacon map, the area from app. the middle of the creek all the way to RL's property line, says "no information available" regarding ownership.

I find it therefore highly coincidental, that the bodies were found right off that particular area and on RL's property!

I took “in the general area” to mean the phone was found in the vicinity of the crime scene, either within the area cordoned off with yellow tape right after the girls were found, or in the creek adjoining that area of land. As opposed to being found in Libby’s pocket or hand; or located somewhere on the trails/elsewhere in Delphi/Carroll County.

Yes RIP. I took it to mean that too but am now wondering. It's one of those vague LE statements again . If they found it in the taped off area, why wasn't the voice released till 22nd? Unless it was damaged in some way and they had some work to do before recovering that audio.

How do you know nothing came of the search? Do you have a link to the Winnebago and shed search? Also how did you track the Peru search down to a specific block and date? Do you have a link or more specifics for these statements?
I am intrigued to know more.
