Durnil added that information received by officers led to Parker’s arrest.

“It takes so much evidence and time to interview people. The information that we received, we were able to corroborate with other facts of the case, other evidence that was seized and that is how we are confident enough to make the arrest and bring it before a prosecuting authority,” he added.

Per this link .... Grandma tells of having so many phone interviews back to back and telling her story over and over. I wish those media outlets/reporters would all get together and compare notes. That'd be a huge shmazzle I'll bet.

The pic of Grandma & Grandpa with Shaylyn, then Kelly writes, My baby girl is getting so big, just really rubs me the wrong way. Was she even Justin g/f at that point. Why do people take selfies and why in a bathroom of all places. Anyone remember what time she left, did she sleep there?

RIP Lil Angel Shaylyn

In one of her posts someone asked her if she had a baby and she said no, it was her new guy's daughter.

Wait. Didn't Grandma say Kelly came to the house to sleep (with Justin)? I thought they broke up. Oh, whatever! Too many different stories so it's a moot point to even be asking this I guess. Friends with benefits perhaps? I wonder if there was any kind of romantic relationship going on between her and Kyle. Does Kyle have a girlfriend? Just talking to myself. No need for anyone to feel like they need to find answers to any of these questions. I feel like I'm talking about JM and DVK all over again with these different stories and lack of emotion.

This doesn't really make a difference in anything, but most cribs cannot fit through the average bedroom door. I would assume he probably didn't buy a brand new crib since she's not there full time, so the crib was probably already assembled. As a result, it remains in the living room. Just a thought on why it's in the living room.

Could be. I have it in my head that it was one of those travel type cribs though, that can be taken down. I can't remember why I think that and I may be wrong.

Side note, sort of related ... In the pics I've seen of the house, both inside and outside, it doesn't look THAT small to me. Do I recall that Grampa was fiddling with a TV satellite dish? And a "new laptop" wasn't taken? They don't sound too strapped for cash to me; I suppose we can't know for sure. It's neither here nor there I guess.

A pic of the crib was posted. It looked like a standard full-size wooden crib to me.

The crib is one of those Jenny Lind style ones.

There is a photo of her asleep in the crib. There's tons of stuff in there with her. I would have thought she asphyxiated on a toy or from blankets something if they hadn't said homicide.

It rubs me the wrong way too. Sadly, I see it a lot though. I've known people who have girlfriends/boyfriends floating in and out of kids' lives acting like the parent. I imagine that for a slightly older child, it would be very confusing.

(What I want to know is what kind of adult calls their significant other "baby boy" and "baby boy of mine"....? Is this something people do?!)

I have known plenty of people who act and do exactly as you have described, and I have no issues with that whatsoever. In fact I am certain of my child were missing I would look like complete crap. My biggest problem is that their stories have changed sooooooo many times. Ok, fine Shaylyns crib is in the living room, well the issue isn't that it's in the living room, it's that they had people in and out of that house constantly that evening and at some point something happened to an innocent 14 month old baby.
1)Did Shaylyn throw a fit and Justin get rough with her and they are all covering?
2)Did they medicate her to get her to go to sleep because the constant noise was keeping her up, and ended up over medicating her?
3)Or did Kyle come back and take her and something happen?
We don't yet know, we will soon enough but at the end of the day there is a cover up going on, and I firmly believe LE is doing a great job this far. Just my take on it from the outside looking in.

good post, hope you don't mind my snipping for focus and the BBM I want to jump off of. My only interest in the crib location is that it being in the living room while other household members may have been located in their respective bedrooms. To me it makes it easier to believe that there may have not been others in the home that night who were involved in the death and disposal of baby Shaylyn, it is possible IMO that some or all of the home's occupants have no clue who harmed the baby and took her to where she was eventually found. Her crib being centrally located in the home may have played a factor in the perp(s) being able to remove her from the home without others being aware and why she was not discovered missing til the residents arose the next morning.

I think we will have much more information as to LE's theory of the case by the weekend's close.

I don't want anyone to feel bad or to feel like the need to explain why they said anything. I agree, everything as we know it looks REALLY bad. I think there were some bad decisions made. I just don't want someone to come here and read things and then later be in a position where they would benefit from having WS as a resource and be fearful to comment because they do things differently. Everyone is certainly entitled to their opinions and my feelings aren't going to be hurt because someone feels differently.

I do think the crib location would make it easy to sneak Shaylyn out of the house unnoticed, but like I said, I doubt it would have changed the final outcome. I think we'd still be looking at a murder investigation. MOO. I'm interested to see if any more arrests happen this weekend. My gut says there will be at least one or two, if not more. I'm having a hard time believing a family friend murdered Shaylyn with her father in the next room. What's the motive? I mean I know bad people do bad things all the time, but statistics point elsewhere when a child turns up murdered in 90%+ of the cases. I certainly feel for LE, they've got a lot of stories to comb through.

It appears that Kelly Rogers has a paper route which is why she would have put the papers on the counter like grandma said.
She, nor Adam had anything on their FB pages about the missing baby at all. Meanwhile another brother & SIL overseas had a lot on their pages. Kelly had previously shared info on a missing women, which makes me wonder why not share about missing Shaylyn.
I think more arrests will be forthcoming.

Thank you, makes more sense. I was not quite understanding the paper thing. I have my theories about Kelly and Adam and I am almost certain most of us do. This whole thing makes me sick.

Detached. They appear detached. That's the word I would use. And I don't expect people to cry a river on camera, but in a room full of people, not one tear, NOT ONE TEAR fell over this missing baby. SMDH That's all I can say as well, without a time out.
Yes! That word describes it perfectly! Detached! Especially the uncle playing on his phone. No emotion at all from anyone.

I'm not sure if this interview has been posted. Justin and his brother, a full 9 minutes

edited: more inconsistency!

Mom and mat. grandma said she had *just started walking and wasn't good at it. But dad and uncle say she walked everywhere and ran everywhere.

And then Adam and Kyle were in Adam's room, but Justin was *never in the room. Where was Justin? Was he in his mom's room? In the living room? If he was in the living room, then wouldn't he have seen whatever happened?

What? That's a pretty big inconsistency IMO. So were dad and uncle going to try and say baby got out of the crib and wandered out the door on foot???

Was Justin off with Kelly somewhere? IMO

Aye-yie-yie what a mess.

I feel like the local reporters are being a little exploitive of the lack of self-awareness these people have about how they are appearing on camera.
Of course, I won't care if it turns out they hurt her.

BBM:
That word detached I believe is used a lot by Dr. Phil and psychologists when used to describe people that are under the influence of a mind altering substance, I believe.
