I'm still scratching my head on what she did for 12 hours on June 3. She saw Darrell early morning in Monterey (before school? in the summer?), and she didn't leave Pasadena until 9 that night. They are not far from each other, correct? What in the heck was she doing all that time?

And was she intentional on not leaving Pasadena until that late so that she arrived in Mesa the wee hours so as to more likely be undetected?

Monterey > Pasadena = 321 miles, approximately 5 hours driving time depending on traffic, of course.

Wasn't it in the Monterey area where she stopped at that salon, the one she couldn't remember if they did hair there or not? With that lack of memory on her part, that is exactly where I believe she had her hair dyed.

Actually I personally appreciated all the explanations. The doctor reference was very helpful. I always considered the symptom to diagnosis like deductive reasoning. We kinda go by"when you hear hoof eats, don't look for zebras". I had no idea what Occams Razor was, never heard of it. I love learning new things!

Times have become all jumbled up for me. It sounds like they were together much more than in reality. Hope they sort out the confusing dates with a visual time line.

A visual time line showing when they saw each other in person, how many times they physically got together, and when all the phone calls occurred, especially from
January to June 2008 would help.

I honestly think this was a very deceptive tactic that nurmi et al tried to reinforce .....their actual "official" relationship was fairly brief.

I'm using these non-trial days to catch up on so much that I missed from the Prosecution case. Listening to Ryan explain how Jodi and he talked about her coming out to visit him in the SLC area. Apparently, she brought up going to visit a friend who had a baby, so she was going to go from Northern CA...to the LA area...and then to SLC.

Seriously?!? How do you work in a trip to SLC out of a trip to LA? The geography just doesn't make sense to me.

I'm originally from Tampa...so I'm going to equate this as driving from Tampa to Ft.Myers and then deciding to hit Daytona on my way back.:waitasec:

I guess he really wanted her to come out to visit b/c I just can't understand how you would agree that it was a good idea. It's not on the way and after taking such a long road trip to LA how could you not feel guilty about having her drive all the way out to Utah. For a day!

I know it was all party of Jodi's alibi/master plan. I'm sure she was like, "Oh, it's no big deal. I really want to see you...blah blah...lie...lie" But, I'm looking at HIS side. Why would that even look like a good idea? :banghead:

Did you read their texts? I think Ryan was counting on getting some action when she got up there. He probably didn't care where else she was going. She made it pretty clear he wouldn't be disappointed.

I have only owned a .38 revolver, so my question is, on a .25 caliber, you have to slide something to get the bullet in the chamber? Reason: one of the juror's question was did you have to slide anything before the gun fired. So, I am assuming that you do. Is that correct? ty

He certainly wouldn't have been able to run with all those stab wounds. Recall all that blood that dripped into the sink. I think that she stabbed him once in the chest and left the bathroom believing he was either dead or would die very soon in the shower. It stands to reason

Thanks...I agree with you completely and will say I am surprised at how many people here think that JA shot him first. If there were to be irrefutable proof that TA was shot first, JA's defense is completely destroyed because her fog/lack of memory has no basis.

When I add up the ME's opinion, the fact that the bullet casing is lying on top of blood, with no blood on the top of it and the time it would take for JA's scenario to play out against the time stamps on the pictures, to me there is no wiggle room for any other scenario.

So what more information is needed to clinch this? Or will this be part of the logic of the closing argument?

The two weapons, the epic overkill, the washing of the camera, the deleted photos from the camera that were revived, the bullet casing on top of the blood, her bloody palm-print on the wall, the medical examiner's opinion and who knows what all else they have. Ain't no way anyone is going to believe this was self-defense especially knowing about all her changing stories and WHY she changed them when she did, and the epic list of all her other lies.

No wonder defense tried to plead down to murder 2 and JM refused. I defintely think the best stuff is yet to come in this trial.

Someone said hair in the blood hers? So it would show brown dyed hair? The car rental seen her blonde? So it wouldn't surprise me if jm doesn't find the hair salon did her hair and fails! She didn't wait in no long line. Takes time to get hair and nails done. He has investigators someone mentioned. So maybe they know where it was done. She's not as smart as she thinks. On that phone call. There is something curious about how she says she lost the phone a week after that call. Turns out that she had the phone all along with her or her family's possessions. I think she got a new one only because she was still planning on seeing Travis at that time and didn't want him or anyone else to be able to find it on her phone. She was paranoid because she projects her sneakiness onto everyone else. She wanted to use the phone but it had nothing to do with murder. It would be way too convoluted for her to think that it would be helpful in murdering Travis.

Now, what good would that sex tape be to a sociopath if it couldn't be used against the person she felt had done her wrong, TA?

Had JA been threatening to play it for bishop/s once she learned that TA had seen his bishop about the premarital sex?

Heck, she could have been threatening to forward it to all of his friends and PPL associates as well?

She certainly wouldn't have missed her chance to make TA uncomfortable about its existence, would she have?

So after the murder ... who was JA's co-conspirator who probably harbored and miraculously "discovered" the long lost Helio cell phone?

Here's my thought on the bed photos that were supposedly taken that day.......they didn't happen. Jodi says she brought TWO cameras with her, I do believe that. I believe that she transferred photos from one of her cameras to his new camera and the time stamps show the time they were transferred. I do not believe there was any sex at all that day. I do not believe that Travis let her in the house. I do not believe that Travis even knew she was coming. I believe that Jodi is the one that was on Travis's laptop at 4 am and not Travis. I believe that Travis had no idea that Jodi was in the house much less his bathroom taking pictures of him in the shower until he turned and saw her. I believe that if you look at the shower pictures in order that you can see when he realized she was there. I believe that she stabbed him in the chest first while he was sitting in the shower and that was also when she took the accidental shower ceiling picture.

Jodi planned this carefully. Jodi had no intention of Travis being alive when she left his house. Thank goodness she stinks as a criminal because the evidence she left behind will allow the jury to find her guilty of 1st degree murder.

I recall her saying she tried to dye her hair back to brown but the first time she did it it wasn't the look she was going for, it was too light but I can't recall the date. Was she ever on Travis' bed with the same color hair we see in the evidence photos before June 4, 2008? That would be one way to confirm the pictures were taken June 4, 2008 or if they were taken before that. Ryan Burns met her at the March 2008 OK City PPL convention and she was blonde. She moved to CA the beginning of April.

Idk. I wonder if she wasn't half expecting it since she didn't act at all surprised when Flores told her about them and she had to know the camera would be found and unsure about its content -- regardless of whether she left it there accidentally or on purpose.

I think ur totally onto it with this! I have wondered if that isn't what prompted TA's words that no one had ever betrayed him the way she did. What would top the betrayal of being recorded having phonesex? She was threatening him and he flipped out about it. Sociopath he called her? Yep, he probably thought that was a pretty sick thing to do to him behind his back. He and JA shared that call and he found out she was recording it.

Let's pretend there is no camera. We have JA's DNA connected to her hair, in Travis' blood. We also have her blood, mixed with Travis' blood, in her palm print. JA was going down no matter what. imo

Very true. However, without the camera we do not have the timeline and the quick succession in which the murder took place. Without the camera, we do not have him taking a shower, as evidenced by several photos, and within less than two minutes after the photo of him looking directly at the camera, he is brutally murdered. There is no time for any type of struggle and an ensuing self-defense claim.

The camera has sealed her fate. And how ironic for someone who calls herself a photographer.
