I know this is now old news, but I wondered if anyone else thought it was hilarious how JA referred to a trip to Costa Rica as 'oh yes, I went abroad' when she was a teenager. Like she was some debutant who was finishing her education in Europe.

Exactly, a trip paid for by her "abusive" parents. While they paid for her karate, piano, art and other hobbies... poor kid.

I find that whole narrative extremely disgusting when you look at the childhood Travis ACTUALLY had.

Here's what I think: She banged Travis in Las Vegas that first night. I mean, just look at that picture of them. The victim may have been more chaste with women he considered marriage material, but Jodi was not in that category.

Also, JM has been preparing this cross for years. He is polishing up the finer points from her amazingly boring testlying, but the meat of his cross has been ready for a long, long time.

I will disagree with you on them knockin' boots in Vegas. She was sharing a room. Do we have any idea if Travis was too?

I think that she was very friendly and seductive with him and I am sure she was texting him the minute they parted and stoked his ego.

On the Jan. 17 episode of "Nancy Grace," it was revealed by Zion Lovingier, a good friend of Travis Alexander, that Jodi Arias studied Wicca. This is quite shocking since she converted to Mormonism and those who truly immerse themselves in the faith would never associate themselves with any form of witchcraft.

Zion was not only a good friend of the victim, but he knew Jodi and had several conversations with her about various topics. He says that she often talked about positive and negative energies and that they had a few conversations about her witchcraft studies after her baptism at the Latter-Day Saints church.

While Zion Lovingier said that the murderer made it seem that Wicca was part of her past, he stated,

"Jodi's issues ran much deeper than Wicca."

When Nancy Grace asked him to elaborate, Zion Lovinger said that she is "nuts" and brought up the fact that the psychiatrist on the "Nancy Grace" show thinks Jodi Arias may be a sociopath. Viewers of the show have recently heard another psychologist state that the woman who killed Travis Alexander is obviously a narcissist.

What do you think of Jodi Arias talking about her interest in Wicca after converting to Mormonism? If she was truly converted, then why would she bring witchcraft up in conversations? While an interest may not have anything to do with the trial, it suggests that she only converted in order to please Travis Alexander in the hopes that he would marry her.

This is Jodi's chance to "kill" Travis again. We know she's killed him 3 times but THIS is her chance to 'finish him off' She's killing his character, his reputation and she's very proud of herself for what she is doing on the stand.

She is doing exactly what she is...she is the black widow in TAs life and death.

She lures........she mates.......she kills.......then she completely consumes him by eating his dead body as if he never existed in the first place.

I hear ya, but this part of her testimony is the most critical and where Juan will dissect what she says into a million pieces. He knows that crime scene like the back of his hand. Anything she says which doesn't match the forensic facts will be thrown in her face. He'll crush her testimony. That's why I can't wait to hear her story. How will she tie these facts into a plausible scenario? I just can't envision...

Martinez’s job will not be easy under cross exam. Notice how JA is working in lots of fine detail but as the events become more sexual or violent JA’s memory fades. Today we will hear about abuse and rough sex. JA ‘s testimony will become labored, halting, and surrounding details more “nebulous” (to coin a JA phrase).
JA will provide a fairly precise framework of the murder where she will connect all the dots of known facts. But her memory will fail her often under cross exam. The number of times JA will declare she simply cannot recall will reach record numbers. The struggle for her life will be so traumatic that she was initially knocked unconscious and then came to but dazed and terrified.
The problem JA will have in describing the struggle with TA is providing an account that comports with the photo timeline. A lot has to happen within minutes and getting knocked around and struggling burns up a lot of seconds leaving little time to inflict 29 knife wounds, traveling to and fro from bathroom to bedroom and dragging a 190 lb corpse some 5 yards back into the shower stall.

I don't remember when the sexual activity started, but she said they "officially" started dating February 2007 and it "officially" ended June 2007.

Per Jodi, they began oral sex immediately in their relationship; which was October 2006. She was baptized in November 2006 and they began to officially date in February 2007. They broke up in June 2007 (4 months - jeez!), yet still had a 'sexual' only relationship until his death in June 2008.

I do not believe anything Jodi has said about her interaction with Travis as concerns oral sex at the Hughes' home or in her car. Not sure what's to come next, but I 'll make my decision then on whether she is being truthful. When she explains what happens in her car, like oral sex is all that happened, is so stupid. Sounds more like how a drug deal would be handled or how a hooker would work. I don't believe her.
