One time CA was saying that when KC got out of jail and all the protesters were outside she was so scared of sleeping in her room so they had an air mattress and she slept on the floor in their room.

CA said she couldn't even go into Caylee's room when she came home....Now CA knows why.

So, could this abandoned house be where KC was stashing Caylee? Wasn't there something about an air mattress. I apologize if this has already been discussed in this thread...

Everyone has asked from the beginning WHERE was she leaving Caylee when CA did not have her and she was partying. This abandoned house may be the key. Some thought it was the Ovieda house because it was vacant, but I am thinking this one. I also think this may be the one where they all partied in the past and she knew the house and the area. I believe police need to check that house as it may be the murder scene.

I still believe it may be the same one as in these videos.

I definitely think the house being searched is the now defunct Mike16acres party/live concert house. You can see the house belonging to Mike in a tribute to the good times had there in the video below. More viddos of the house can be seen at the youtube link.

Ok, I thought and I could be remembering this wrong, the air mattress was used for KC once she got home, but I thought it was bought for Caylee so she would have a place to sleep when KC had her spend nights with her at friends??? But I could be wrong.

Ok, missed the whole 16 acres thing, but I did see the lattice in the very beginning of the video, is it abandon do you know or up for sale? I couldn't see much else like the railing or pepsi machine, but it could be. do you know where that is?

Trying to folllow your train of thought: you think that the 16acres house in the video is where Casey used to take Caylee? Are you also saying you think that the house marellano is/was going to go check out with KB is the same house as that depicted in the mike16 acres videos?

OK...here's a possible route that (a) would fit Casey cutting through a subdivision on her way to/from C&G's and Tony's, and (b) has homes that have many similarities to the abandoned house shown in the video. I've been 'driving' the route on LiveEarth birdseye view, but, I hafta run...if anyone else would like to check it out...

South on Goldenrod

South on S. Chickasaw

I don't know why this route would make more sense than just using Curry Ford Rd, UNLESS, the abandoned house was in this subdivision and it needed to be visited...

Just a total SWAG, but, you'll see plenty of double-outbuildings...cars/trucks parked in back yards...chain link fence...older homes....where the abandoned house we're seeing would fit right in...(i.e. prolly without a home owner's association).

It would be an 'uncomfortable walk' from Suburban...IMHO.

Bern: IMHO, DC was digging for a key to the house. Since they didn't turn up a key they just cut open the bags that were outside. Here's a theory to work with...

On 6/23 Casey runs outta gas on her way to G&C's. She disposed of the body on 6/20, but, still has some decomp stained items in the trunk (e.g. favorite outfit she thinks she can launder). She's not worried 'bout Tony finding a body now...simply the smell...so she locates an abandoned house near where her car runs outta gas and she carries a bag of decomp stained clothes there for safekeeping. I speculate this may've been returned to the trunk before 6/27...then was discarded again before 11:34AM 6/27 when Casey plans to run the car outta gas @ Amscot (which won't take long 'cause it had <5gallons in it) and decides it has to go...she tosses it and mentions to Amy in her text 'bout gettin' rid of the source of the smell.

Anything Casey left behind would be evidence if it weren't removed/destroyed...or...DC may have inside info...maybe just acting on a tip or...maybe Tony's report of where Casey's car ran outta gas (hasn't been released yet to my knowledge) and decided to check it out.

In the video note that DC had taken some half-width cinder blocks off the top of what I'll call a foundation planter. IIRC, it looked like there was an untreated 4x4 running vertical on the border of the left-hand screen when he was digging...and perhaps a partial view of an old bannister...that would be next to steps...next to a door. Sooooo....look for key under the cinder blocks. :waitasec:

Going waaaaay out on a limb. IIRC, there maybe some half-width cinder blocks at the crime scene...(i.e. marking the spot). These are modern cinder blocks that may've been used during the additions to the abandoned home. Perhaps the abandoned house is the origin of the cinder blocks and they were used to mark the spot...or hold down the edges of a tarp or something that was then covered with soil....just thinkin' out loud.

Without being able to use last names, the Mike that Patrick at jail mentioned was Mike W. , the 16 acres guys is supposed to be a MIke L. Maybe Turbo can answer more about Mike L., I hadn't really heard of him before a couple of days ago, even though there were some links. I think a couple of the LAke V. crowd may be in the 16acres videos?
