How do people end up adopting a kidnapped baby without knowing it?

Its supposed to be the media's first home tour that was canceled but you cannot help but answer some of these posts sometimes.. Sorry but you really cannot ignore some of them Lord help me.. I try..

Isnt there a forum we can make for general discussions on everything. Because it always seems to get mished moshed. Is that possible..

No need for you to apologize to me, Frankie. I'm just lost. It's past my bedtime, I think. :)

OK, back to the topic.

Did they cancel the daily press releases too or just the appointments and conferences?

My point in saying that Lisa isn't resting well is in pointing out that on day 4, when if there was the smallest chance that indeed Lisa was abducted/kidnapped that is when the forward movement had to be at its best. And the parents needed a break. Now here we are in week 4 and the family needs a break. What I am seeing here is waaaa waaaaa

Legal maneuvering at its worst. There is something brewing IMO and either the lawyers are in disagreement, there is a breakdown in the family support or something else is brewing. Because I'm not buying the exhaustion. I'm not buying this change of plans at all in less than 12 hours. I'm seeing stall tactics and that does not bode well for the parents in my eyes.

This is a bit o/t but why did the neighbor not go to the store to get the wine? Why get the brother? Maybe the neighbor was too young to buy it like the brother was? And do we know if it was the drinking buddy neighbor or the teen neighbor that supposedly sat with the children?

Something is amiss in this particular scenario to the store. Buying the baby items throws it out like a red herring.

IMO she's in heaven, y'all. I know it's hard to face, but cadaver dogs do their jobs with no bias. And when mom is hesitant to talk to police, or let anyone else who was in the house talk to police... I'm sorry, I'm a realist. We won't know for sure until a body is found, but the evidence that we know of points in a tragic direction.

Sadly I agree. Statistically the likelihood of her being located alive is negligible, imo. When infants are kidnapped they are generally younger than Lisa and have a very high rate of recovery soon after their abduction. Add to that when a child is murdered a parent is responsible 56-57% of the time and under one year olds are at the greatest risk of homicide - the percentage of parental involvement also goes up exponentially the younger the victim...I just don't foresee another outcome. :(

Praying I am wrong though...let Lisa be another miracle.

Taking what both Grandma and Donjeta are saying into account, I almost wonder if they didn't back themselves into a corner with this daily press release thing. If the boys are (or were) going to be interviewed on Friday, wouldn't they have to address that in some capacity in press releases? Maybe they thought, "Yikes. We better wait on these press releases until we figure out a way to address THAT!"

Make sense?

Something stinks! I'm only wondering if people suspect a arrest on the way?! Maybe some results came back from the last house search?

Tomorrow's press release could be: "We are very grateful for all the Law Enforcement who searched for Lisa yesterday. Thank you for all your efforts. Please look at these photos of Lisa and call the tipline if you see a child that resembles her."

Refusal to sit down with LE, refusing to give information to LE seperately, all happening at the same time this media spin was about to occur and then cancelled is in my opinion is not some weird coincidence. I think the lawyers know where this is going.

One can only hope but LE is being very quiet on that topic. In as much as I think LE is doing a good job, I have to say that we need more searches out there. I am still upset that the NG was called in and only searched the one area. I think we should have utilized them better and made them search every strip of barren land around there. A lot more searches need to be done. That baby is someplace, I mean she is someplace. Where I only wish I knew but she is out there. I am not sure if LE will release what has come of the search warrant, they might want to keep that for court. And discovery of course.

You'd think. I mean, it's not like they haven't done pressers to show the younger family members marching out to tape posters to a tree, or pressers to introduce BS, or pressers to introduce Joe, or pressers to talk about anonymous benefactors. No one was too exhausted to do that. It really WOULD be nice to hear the family do a press release where FINDING Lisa was the ONLY focus.

Just saying.

If it is, we'll know where they got it :)

I agree.. This is such a mess..

I do suspect an arrest is on the way.

And I do hope you are right. How many times have I followed cases and thought this too, and it didn't happen. How many times have I thought they are close to finding the missing child, and it didn't happen. I pray that this case ends differently and soon! I am so sick and tired of perps getting away with murder....especially of a child. :furious:

I hope, instead, there is an LE press release stating the perps are behind bars. Or that Lisa is found, even if deceased, so that the perps serve justice for this sweet baby.

Kids are transported internationally. Some really sleazy independent adoption with a baby broker is another possiblity but more remote.

I just want them to find her little body and give her a right and proper burial. And pray she speaks the truth of her too early death, like Caylee tried to tell us.
