IMO it looks like a black candle, on what the upper rim of wax has molten to the outside due to the fire.

But she shape of the upper rim is odd! It spreads out. Just like used candles often do.

And i don't think, that he might have used black candles for romantic mood.

Can you check out any aerial shots from 2018? I posted a link way back about either planning permission BP had requested, or a dispute about some building he had erected. If it was a dispute, maybe he was told to scale back his business, or to maybe stop using the other land?

next to the pool. a new build went up between 2013 and 2015. which might explain why there was a dispute in 2018. new living space? or workshop?
