OK so a note about the bday party / candles photo that we've been discussing. Some wondered if it might be a stock image, but I don't think it is. I believe its a legit photo of NF and children she knew. Which children is anyone's guess. But I wanted to point out that in the background you can see a white structure that I first thought was a lighthouse. Its actually a chiminea apparently... I found the same one in a stock image here:

Now I know her name, description of the clothes and photos which I have seen in the press. At that time I knew of her as a member of the group but did not know her name. I do not remember having seen her when I spoke with Gerry, but I believe I saw her when I first ventured out. She was stopped on the street in front of one of the group's apartments when I passed her down towards the exit to my apartment. I do not know if it was her apartment or not. I remember that she was wearing the colour purple.

So, according to Tapa's timeline, Purple Woman saw a man carrying a child at a time GM was on the street facing patio's door.

Re this '90% solved' business:

The only source I can find for this 'new info' is Dieter Fehlinger, talking to The Sun. The SUN!! In which case, it should be dismissed outright.

This "90%" just seems to be a rehash of previous news. HCW made comments over a month ago that they had 90% of the evidence they need. There's been very little information of worth come out in the last week or two which is why people are resorting to counting birthday candles or going over old ground on the thread.

Doubtful. Reward money is seldom every successful in securing leads that will solve even the simplest of crimes. I can't recall where I read this, but I believe it, otherwise, loads of people would be ratting out others, solving crimes and reaping reward money!

I read something along those lines too.

I think the key factor is that the majority of people, upon being appealed to (via a public broadcast for help), will instinctively respond if they feel they have anything useful to offer. ie. their primary instinct is to try and help. They're not doing it because there might be a reward on offer.

Those that come forward with info only after a reward is offered have to be looked at very carefully.

I see a reward as being more a 'reveal yourself' tactic by the police.

No, but CB was becoming a main suspect, from around 2017, and if you Google the woman in purple, there was a big push In Europe in 2017 to find her, bit of a coincidence, they named someone from Bulgaria, who I think used to work in PDL, and she has clearly said it wasn't her, just trying to find a description of the woman in purple now.

i dont know about you but the news of thousands of paedos busted in different countries, the various articles saying its quite prevalent, the multiple studies conducted and the sheer numbers of people seem to be consistent.

Please don't worry about finding peer reviewed articles.

I had no idea this ever happened, but as for IP address.... it isn't super hard / wasn't super hard even back then to hide your IP address.... google: "vpn" for a better explanation

I never heard of this neither and there was more communication with the McCanns replying. Also the anonymous sender saying they didn't think the abductors would harm MM. I never knew an IP address could be hidden though X

Problem solved. Every time Sandra said 100.000, I understood 6.000. The ladies pronounce it differently.
Sorry for the confusion; there is no 6000 besides the 100.000! It's just 100.000 and nothing else!

I read that JM had always stood by her initial statement of knowing RM was not involved because she was home all night with him - until recently, she changed the story to knowing RM was not involved because he was home when she arrived just before 10pm, having driven past apartment 5A and seeing a woman wearing a plum coloured top standing outside. -Not sure why anybody would hold such information from LE for so many years! X
