They said the use of the word 'finally' is not meant in the sense that he can do it for the first time. In fact it meant more like the opposite, like he was saying he can do it again following a period of not having done so. Perhaps in the same way we might say "I can finally have a rest", it doesn't mean that you have never rested before, it means you are eager to do it again.

The shirt with the circle has been mentioned previously, I got the impression that the video or image of MM features someone wearing this shirt who is otherwise not 100% identifiable. My opinion only.

A red shirt was also used in the rape case and interestingly enough in the image of his adoptive mother she was also wearing red.

IMO it's your first point rather than nastiness that initially made so many people want to believe GAs original accusations. Psychologically far less horrific for our minds to deal with tho even worse for her parents

I agree - it’s much easier and more comfortable for people to process GA’s accusations. However, some people are just ignorant and conspiracy theory crazy or believe whatever the MSM feed them. I feel awful for MM’s parents - the vilification and the character assassination of K and G in the media. What the twins must hear and read, it must be unimaginably hard for the whole family. It’s a double edged sword because I would rather believe they did it as MM would have died more “humanely” but I hate the way the McCann’s are treated. They’ve lost a child and they are victims too. The media have so much apologising to do if CB is guilty.
It’s just such a sad case.

This is the first time I have seen this stated (although sadly not attributed to a source) and fits in with other posters thoughts:

For those discussing the van photos any number of threads back, I believe the Malaga location sleuthed was confirmed by the radio competition but pretty sure the Praia do Barranco location wasn’t. The link below confirms that location also as correct:

We sleuthed here Málaga and Barranco's pics BARD. No way to tell which was taken first though. To me it was disappointing that Málaga pic was dated March 30, 2007 and unconnected to Mellila.

We couldn't locate the road pic so far, the hardest one of all. Anyway I found a concrete thing behind vegetation that could be a spring within an aqueduct. After searching for a while I could find one such concrete buildings at Carnaxide near Lisbon, but couldn't determine a likely location there around. Unfortunately it didn't attract much interest for sleuths here.

The sniffer dogs were brought in to search in the early hours of 4 May.

IMO it seems unlikely that any samples were taken before the early hours of 4 May

Normally forensic collection is made before sniffer dogs are sent into the crime scene, otherwise the dogs could disturb crucial evidence/or contaminate the scene.

As we know, the crime scene was a mess so who knows what happened. If they followed procedure it would have been after forensic collection.

Before or after, still could be CB's dogs hair sitting in a locker with the PJ, if they still have the samples.

In the NL a number of terms have been abolished, because they are considered to be offensive.
Two examples (there are more): "Zwarte Piet" and "allochtoon".

It's time that the terms "paedophile" and "child sex/*advertiser censored*" get abolished too! They are offensive to children and psychologically misleading -above all misleading to paedos!

- From 02:00 and 08:00hrs of May 4th, the Portimao sniffer dogs got to work. These dogs are actually patrol dogs.
- At 08:00 four S&R dogs from Queluz started to operate.
- At 23:00 eight specialised dogs from PdL were brought in
- And so on and so forth.
Did these dogs only search outdoors? I seem to have understood that from reading the Portuguese version? But is that correct?

I also winced the first time I saw a red top abbreviate the word to "paedo" Lessening the gravitas in typical fashion.
