IMO he crossed the road west to east exactly as witness JT describes. So yes possibly he is walking to the creche. A possible reason to do so at 10pm might be to collect an older child from creche, just like the example I linked on Wed evening.

Why would Tannerman go back to the creche with his child when his wife was on holiday with him? Surely you would leave the sleeping child with your wife? Did they even have 2 children?

The point is that on the Wednesday, on the final trip to the creche, BoD/JW carried a child towards the creche, at a time when one might expect to see no children being carried towards the creche. So it is a straight equivalent to the problem of why the man seen by JT was going towards the creche. And yes the 2 year old girl whom JT saw being carried has a brother a year older.

So many Irish folk in this thread! Did you guys follow the ana kriegel case last year in leixlip/Lucan? That was the most *horrendous* case I think I’ve followed, it’s up there with alesha macphail. I didn’t hear about it until After the boys got found guilty, it wasn’t reported over here in the UK much if at all

Not a straight equivalent as Tannerman was on his own but the other couple went together to collect the other child.
I'm interested in your theory as to why you think Tannerman didn't leave the sleeping girl with his wife?

I believe it's 3 year old (that is what is on the actual guest list).

What is your theory on this? Do you think at 22.00 the man JT crossed the road carrying his daughter from east to west (from creche to block 4 )?. Do you think the woman JT did see him, but unintentionally the direction got reversed in her memory?

It is the guest list of resort guests. It states the ages. Night creche list has not been released IMO.

In BOD/JW case they were at Tapas Bar when they collected a child from the creche for the second time on the Wednesday. How do you account for JT walking away from the vicinity of his own apartment towards a darker, less accessible route to the creche to pick up a second child on a separate occasion without another adult? Where in Luz had the T's dined to make such a scenario plausible, given the child's lack of outdoor clothing?
If CB was the abductor i.e the person who broke into 5A & unlawfully removed Madeleine, then Tannerman may well have been the accomplice and still of interest to DCI Redwood.

We know CB was a drug smuggler who worked out of Portugal and was known to make excursions into Spain .

There is no actual proof that CB has ever smuggled drugs from Portugal/Spain.

There is proof that CB dealt weed/hash on the Isle of Sylt in Germany for a relatively short period of time until he got arrested.

Excl. Sylt, CB has no drugs charges on his long extensive rap sheet.

No mentions from LE of any drugs/paraphernalia from the locations/vehicles that they have searched over the years in connection with CB

Most mentions of CB and drugs are just hearsay from media witnesses and media spin.

I'm not saying he couldn't have been an international smuggler shifting large amounts at a time, but looking at the facts and add in the 'lifestyle' CB was living it doesn't seem to add up to me.

There is that too, but not everyone necessarily feels the need to help or get involved. Not because, in this case, they were hiding anything, more that eg. they knew they were carrying their own child home and had nothing to do with MM's disappearance, and just didn't want to become part of what so quickly became an international media circus.
