The trial of Molly Martens-Corbett (33) and her father, retired FBI agent Thomas Michael Martens (67), who both deny the second degree murder of Mr Corbett, also heard that a post mortem examination revealed traces in the Irish businessman's blood system of a powerful sleep drug prescribed for his wife, Ms Martens-Corbett, just days earlier.

Mr Corbett did not suffer from the sleep issues for which the drug was prescribed.

So JC was assaulted in multiple rooms? He was heading to the bathroom whilst being struck and then back to the bedroom where he was ultimately killed?

IMO If MM was bring dragged from one room to another by the neck there would be marks.

She's wearing little ole me wardrobe and hair in court so unfortunately if they look to her appearance as a character reference she's screaming little voice

If they see the social media photos however they are more realistic imo

Although, that article is heartbreaking. The injuries, it's just uinbelievable.

My heart aches for JC little kids reading it which they will and try comprehend the evil of the Ms' and their ability to front another face. Shocked to the core.

Only now can the general public understand the real horror of the Corbett family endured at the thought of this vicious insane murderess retaining custody.

We are supposed to believe old Tom Martens is Babe Ruth...hitting a home run into Jason's skull every time...in the bedroom, the hall, both sides of the bathroom door....and did all this without a scratch...and wasn't even out of breath when he IMMMEDIATELY called 911.

I wish we could see Mollys face as the brutality was described. The poor pitiful Pearl act blown up, IMO.

I think this was her. But if TM wants to take the blame for the carnage...let him rot in prison too.

Completely agree we have all read the autopsy but to hear the description giving in opening of his injuries it is beyond comprehension. Beaten to death and struck again - at least once -following death. There was no relent. The evidence of the medical expert is going to be hard to stomach reading.

Maybe, or could be they took the prescription bottle/box into evidence which would have shown her name and the date she took up the presecription. Again, all supposition on my part.
