I know, but both parents have alibis, and if she was killed in the home there would be some evidence of a murder inside the home. I know they are LE, and if anyone could cover up a crime they would be able to do that, but you can't erase some evidence, it shows up. You also have to get up to possibly three people to cover it up. So that leaves something outside the home happening. Like we have. What does that show? A setup? Someone hired or was lurking to get her. There are still a lot of problems with that. You have to get her to stop for one, the van is clean, no witness to the kidnapping. It just feels like she took off with someone and for what ever reason, hasn't made contact.

You know, the only way I would stop my van or car is if it was LE and I trusted them. She was on a lonely road, but she had a mom and dad that worked for LE, so if someone posed as a cop, would she stop?

We don't know there wasn't evidence in or outside the home.

We don't know anything, really.

At first I thought their involvement was due to the belief that she had traveled beyond state lines. However, now given the timing of their involvement I'm more inclined to believe the local SD had them come in to ensure things were dealt with in a "professional" manner.

Re crossing state lines: From Fairmont to Dillon, SC, (home of the in/famous South of the Border -- tourist trap -- I just picked SOTB because it is a landmark known to some, and because it is one of the towns that lie near the NC/SC border), it is 17--20 miles, depending on route taken. So something may have made local LE think about interstate activity. Just sayin' -- Who knoze what prompted the FBI to come into the case, As I've said before, however, the RCSO may not have a lot of personnel to assign several folks to be fairly dedicated to this case (dunno, really), or yes, RCSO could have asked them for assistance due to the specialties for which the FBI is known in a case such as this.

Also..Happy Birthday Sara... I hope that you are soon found safe somewhere.

Aww, I missed this. Yesterday was her birthday? Sara, hope you're safe and can be home soon.

This is saying the FBI considers Connie a suspect. It hasn't been corrected to say differently, so I'm inclined to believe it.

It actually says this, "Sources close to the investigation told WRAL News, however, that the FBI, which joined the investigation early this month, considers Connie Graham a suspect in the case, adding that an arrest may be made and charges filed soon.

So in otherwards, according to a source close to the investigation says the FBI says so.. A source could be here mom, dad, LE, a friend, another family member, etc. And this could be true or it could be not. Nothing official. Not direct confirmation from the FBI.

I think the grammar is so crappy it could go either way.

I think the grammar is so crappy it could go either way.

What could go either way? Maybe I am not understanding.

The point I was making, and others have said the same, is that the statement identifies a "source" close to the investigation as the one who spoke to WRAL News. It then follows with what the "source" told them. We have no clue who this person is or if the information is correct. If they determine foul play is what happened, LE may not even name a suspect or POI before an arrest. So many cases I follow, it seems to not happen anymore.

Sources told the news station that the FBI considers CG to be a suspect.

NO, No, No, :) He was home that morning and most likely a few days after, he most likely had to leave when the ***** hit the fan concerning CG. Probably when fbi stepped in and did a more thorough investigation at the house. It is of my opinion that only one other (child) lived there or on that property besides Sara. I have sleuthed myself to death and as far as I can tell many, many are using false names. It is very interesting, yet very concerning that the honesty level in all ages is about a n 8 on the rickter (spelling) scale. Some my opinion , some not

I agree with you Simlyme. Hubert (Dad) was living at the home with wife (Connie, a/k/a "Stepmom") and Sara when Sara disappeared. As I recall, it was stated in MSM that Dad said that he and Sara had been watching TV the night before Sara went missing. (Don't have the link to back-up my memory, though. Sorry!)

I think this is the article that stated that.

Also, I went back and reviewed this article and saw that it was the only time stated that her "mother" saw her leaving for work. No mentions of anyone else seeing her leave.
From the article:
"Graham, 18, was last seen on Wednesday Feb. 4 when her mother says she saw her heading to work at the local Walmart. Hours later, her father, Hubert, who is a Robeson County sheriff's deputy, was alerted that her car had been found, Sara nowhere in sight."
Not sure which news source is correct as all others have stated they all left together...

How do you know he was home that morning?

That link didn't work, but this link did: http://www.twcnews.com/nc/triangle-...ntinue-to-search-for-missing-18-year-old.html

Sheriff Kenneth Sealey said: Graham was living with her father, Hubert Graham, and her stepmother, Connie Graham. The Grahams left home for work at the same time.

Sealey said detectives have no reason to believe she would just run away. "There's been no trouble with her dad or stepmother. Everything was going good," he said. "It's very unlikely for her to do this."

The Grahams left home for work at the same time.

I asked this before... which Graham's? The second entry specifically mentions only the step mother. Where was the father at 6:30 am? I don't think we'll know that answer until after the arrest is announced and they have to explain why the arrest was made.

Oops! Sorry if I'm rehashing something already discussed :) Also, thanks for correcting the links JerseyGirl, not sure what happened there..
