Maybe among his belongs they found one way airline tickets to a certain destination? There is so much we do not know that LE does know but will not tell us until the investigation is complete.
I would imagine that it probably has something to do with his car and what was found in it. :moo:

Thanks for the heads up. Well the financial angle was strange to me from the beginning. And then some sources even named him as a multimillionaire, then he was mathematical genius-poker player, and then you look at the pictures and there is just this obese guy in flip-flops feasting on food and drinks.
Also a question for the people in the know - is there a way to make money on video poker, aren't the machines "rigged" to give casinos an edge? (even more so than all the other casino games)

I just read an article where usually returns on video poker are somewhere between 95-99%. If you're good at it, you get around the 98-99% mark. In his case, he was more than breaking even because he was spending enough that the hotel was comping items for him that would have theoretically made up the difference, if not turned a "profit". :moo:

Ok, after reviewing everything i could find, I see NO evidence of muzzle flashes from other shoots. I don't think shots were fired from anywhere but the 32nd floor of the Mandalay. I also think the "2 guests" room service reciept is substantially explained and is not related to the shooter. That receipt clearly was for another couple that stayed in the suite prior to the shooter checking in. That employee that released it should be ashamed for putting it out there.

The room service receipt has his name on it. I haven't heard that it was the previous guests... do you have a link for that?

It definitely had his name at the bottom.

Police said in a press conference early Monday that Paddock's death was the result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

https://www.google.com/amp/www.dail...-23-rifles-inside-Stephen-Paddock-s-room.html

During the chaos, claims of multiple shooters, bombings and suspicious cars circulated, but police said they were only rumors.

-I read MSM and posted that he had the silver black-handled revolver reserved for himself. Shot it in his mouth. I don’t know how they could confirm that but i’m sure they did their homework in releasing that statement.

Neighbors said he erected a mesh fence around his home until a Petition was signed for HOA to take it down. Neighbor ask why he had it with such a beautiful view. He said he didn't want to look at people and didn't want people looking at him. He was strange.

The receipt that I saw had the room number (listed as "table 32135") but no name.

Someone was asking about the brother's "thousands of dollars of sushi" claim, he also said they were at a restaurant at Wynn casino, the first pic is the menu from a sushi restaurant there. There are a couple of sushi restaurants in the US that a normal meal for two would be over $1,000. This is not one of them. I can eat a ton of sushi and who knows what their bar tab may have been, but I don't see thousands of dollars being the price of even an extended meal at that particular restaurant. Second pic is another Wynn restaurant I missed that they did sushi too at first, if they were having live geoduck or something, such a high tab would be expected.

I stand corrected, I do see that now. The photo of the receipt i saw initially had the bottom cut off. That is perplexing because the hotel says he was not in 32135 on the 27th.

I look at the shooter's brother as a victim. I watched his second interview. He talked about his horror and sadness for the victims and their families. He talked about his own son being in tears about this turn of events. He talked about his own feelings of guilt that maybe had he texted back things might have been different. He has talked about his brother as he knew and experienced him and there is no crime in that. This shooter lived for 60 odd years and never was arrested or convicted of a crime. The man EP knew did exist. And, the man who murdered 59 people also now exists.

I am not sure how he concocted the million dollar interview scenario. He is all over the place and probably thought it would be a good idea given that the press are camped out on his lawn. But, I wrote before (and maybe he is reading here) that he needs to stop speaking and get a lawyer or PR person who can help him out with what he wants to say.

No doubt he is conflicted. How do you work through having a monster who kills 59 people and treats you and your kids well? How do you work through the pain?

Some here are commenting on his looks and his ramblings and virtually accusing him of being a part of this. I think it is wrong to assume he was involved. He is not a POI or a suspect and, according to our rules, a family member who is a victim. Might EP have seen warning signs or been able to relate better to his brother. Yes, and that,, unfortunately is his cross to bear.

I am having so much trouble with the hero security guards story. I just don't understand how an unarmed security guard managed to approach that door and end up with a minor shot to the leg while SP struck people with head shots from over 1000 feet away!!! That whole scenario before the police arrived is baffling to me from the police scanners. I'm not accusing the security guy just thinking aloud....was he spared deliberately??? Known to SP???
He probably stepped aside into a doorway or something.

There were over 200 shots that went through that door--- through the door as it was not open. I think he was lucky and maybe off to the side. I also think the shooter was not focused on where he was shooting. He heard a knock or sound and began shooting to buy himself time. The door was barricaded in some way, according to the chief at one briefing. So, he was lucky. I doubt he was known to the shooter given that the shooter had the peep hole obscured with a camera that was not connected so he probably didn't know who was on the other side. JMHO.

Does anyone have a link to an image of a recent photo of Paddock? Someone said he was bald

Been digging through the articles on the Big Daddy Bruce Ericksen aka Benjamin Paddock. Looks like the old boy got a free ride on the 11 years he had yet to serve. He must have charmed them (gentle giant narrative) or became a snitch for the government (tin foil hat mode on.)

Links with some more in depth data than the usual stuff:

And here they even found the video of the guy, he really looks like a handful

Why are there so many conspiracy thoughts with this case? And I don't just mean on WS but the whole internet! I don't think I have seen a case with such wild theories. Gang member, money launderer, criticizing family member appearances, who's a hero or who isn't, was he planning on escaping after or was he planning to go out when he did, how many shooters, etc. It just seems there are so many, completely opposite thoughts regarding this. I hope we get some solid confirmation soon.

Strange and maybe somewhat Paranoid.

Over 600 injured and 58 dead. The domino effect of this in the aftermath is astounding. So many that survived this, all who responded to this, whether civilian or First Responder will walk around with the "invisible" injury of PTSD. The reality, pain, and ramifications of trauma, and even vicarious trauma, on people's lives is under appreciated and often forgotten after the coverage stops and we move on to the next unfortunate horror that will inevitably take place.

As we mourn the dead and the 58 families that have been irreparably changed, we cannot forget the walking wounded , (Psychologically) that experienced, witnessed, and survived this horror. They will be in real psychological pain for a long time to come. The effects of trauma are so real and often go untreated , misunderstood, and under appreciated.
Yes, this. Several years ago I witnessed a pedestrian versus truck accident. No fatalities just injuries which produced blood. However, just seeing what I did see was very traumatic for me. I avoided that area of town for an entire year afterwards. I can't even imagine what these witnesses are going through or how they will best cope. The flashback images will be haunting.

There. Is. So. Much. Misinformation. Out. There. Some is being purposely spread, especially conspiracies. It is all easily debunked and reputable MSM are debunking Viral Hoaxes, outright lies, and Conspiracy Theories that are conflating and attempting to destroy the truth with fake news up to the minute.

WaPo has a running list that they began earlier in the week and they update as needed. Its mind boggling. This is the double edged sword of the internet and the MISinformation age. Way too many people invested in spreading lies for their own agendas, for attention, and not enough thorough fact checking. It mades me sad and angry all at the same time. It creates utter chaos and is intended to confuse reality so that we get confused as to what is real and what is not. The facts are out there. You just have to stick to MSM sources with established veracity who verify / or retract any erroneous reporting. There will always be those other sources attempting to breed suspicion and destroy the truth. Don't let them.

It is so so disrespectful to victims and survivors imo.

I am not trying to argue a point here, but I AM happy to see this...

"The National Rifle Association on Thursday endorsed tighter restrictions on devices that allow a rifle to fire bullets as fast as a machine gun — a rare, if small, step for a group that for years has vehemently opposed any new gun controls.

Twelve of the rifles the Las Vegas gunman, Stephen Paddock, had in a high-rise hotel suite when he opened fire on a crowd on Sunday were outfitted with “bump stocks,” ...

I am confused. Are they a branch of the govt? Who cares what they think!
