Today I'm feeling great respect for these 51 police officers and imaging how horrific that night must have been. What probably started out as a low risk country and western concert attended by only 22,000 fans by these officers looking to pick up a little extra $$$ in overtime instantly turned into a one-sided horrific battlefield rife with panic and confusion.

"The night of the shooting, there were 51 Metropolitan Police Department officers working overtime to staff the Route 91 Harvest festival..."

This link below was shared last night and is worth a read because it contains some of the communications. It puts a lot of context toward the high level of chaos these officers were suddenly facing. I think sometimes it's easy to look back in judgement but taking everything into account, I think they were heroic in their battle against the unknown at the time, just my opinion.

Soooo... I just did a public records search for the shooter since I had some free time. Interestingly, when searching in NV, the site I used returns a big fat 0. However, I did find an address that's been posted around before, while searching in California. So... interesting thing here... He sold this property last year. In October. For a quarter-million dollars. I won't post the actual address in the very rare chance it's not actually his, but that lines up with him needing to liquidate some funds to make some large purchases over the next year...
bbm M00C0Waddress for me...Absolutely fascinating and perhaps more pertinent info....peeling back the layers of this odd guy. Hmmm, kind of makes a person wonder....if "Just-a-Guy" was such a genius real estate investor, why did he stop? There are always distressed properties and investors willing to "pony up funds" for a smart real estate investor. He could continue his "self-imagined greatness and brag about his real estate investment acumen....which I think would be more acceptable/admired from family/gf etc. than professional gambler." I would be more interested in a man who told me made money as a real estate investor, than a man who told me he studied the algorithms of a "one-armed-bandits." I notice he has always been described as a "retired accountant".....yet he has not worked at a "job/traditional workplace" in 30 years!!! Frankly, he didn't work long enough at any job to receive a pension from anyone!!! So, other than the "assumption of a 64 year old being retired".....what was the approximated time of his retirement?? (Not approx time of his death)
On a side note, has any business ever been the victim of intl' extortion....ie wire money to my associate in foreign country or we will damage your reputation?? What agency handles that kind of stuff?? That part bothers me.....Just-A-Guy wouldn't have to "be there" if extortion was his intention.

Has it been discussed on here yet SP "link" to a company called Volant LLC?

Sorry, there was actually a glaring typo in that post that I just caught. It was sold for 3/4-million dollars - a little bit over $750k.

The interesting thing for me was the property was sold in October 2016, which is when his first gun purchases revolving around this event started, and perhaps even his planning. It seems that whatever his trigger was, was sometime around that time.

Just wow huh

Yeh, we accidently forgot to tell the world for 10 days about a terrific detailed visual witness.

He set the stage visually. But Sheriff accidentally left him out -give me a brake please

Hummmmmmmmmmmmmmm could it be becasue his first words were someone is firing on the 32 floor

but no they needed to explore and discover discuss where the shooter might possibly maybe could be.

That why there is no mention of maintenance man -- within 8 seconds folks were told where and what

he needs to be removed -- imo

I am sorry I dont even believe all this they took so long cause they were clearing rooms -- crock -- the Australian guy in the next room gave interviews .........he never mentioned then the cops came to my door and told to me to get out .

Would you leave out of an interview if you opened your door and a bunch of cops are there

The only thing our Sheriff cared about was covering his tushie, the FBI is still doing a major investigation on him,and cause his guys were the pitts -- and yes , if they had there act together they might have been able to protect and serve

makes me sick

and as we learn more more nuance presents itself

- the employee badge being used all over the hotel is bothersome

- I could even kill someone if I shot 200 rounds -- a boo boo on his leg is somewhat ludicrous. I have doubts about the 200 shots.

the doorway sure looked reasonably good after someone with a machine gun is supposedly 20 feet away . For some reason the word pulverized comes to mind ! J

- I think our Sheriff got a volley into the crowd misplaced -- and now does not want to come out and say i made another mistake there were not 200 rounds in the hallway. And no one person hurt -- out of 200 shots in close proximity there is leg boo boo -- defries logic logic of any kind!

So the dude is blasting 200 rounds down the corridor and the room service cart is 8 feet away from this and it is pristine. What are room service carts machine gun proofed or something ! China was all nicely placed despite a hailstone if raging bullets?

Table cloth not a scratch?

After seeing the diagrams - is when this line of thinking was born

And while we are here - the primary witness is taking a vacation with zero explanation?
Before the FBI arrives .

The dynamic between the two of them becomes more and
more understandable . "Excuse me, you let our only witness take a vacation because he felt like getting out of town for moment? In the biggest shooting in the nations history and you are signing hall passes?

The discussion, on the dispatch audio (hey just a fact guys - not a conspiracy here - its on the tape) of three not one, not two but three black vans being kindly escorted by LE to the airport after the biggest shooting in history? Then afterwards the airport is locked down?
-

Some of it like that Naked GUn movies !

Much is off kilter-and imo we are so far past ludicrous land.......

There is a news article somewhere that says the guard was shot and there were two hundred shots. From the article, to me, it sounds like he shot the guard and then there were two hundred shots at the concert goers. Where is the article? I read it here. After page 17?

So, what do we make of this?

An Australian man, in the first couple of days after the shooting, revealed that his room was actually 32134, the room right next to the suite. He was outside at the time of the shooting, and made an offhand remark about how he was glad he wasn't in his room, because it was apparently right next door to the shooter.

At 02:11 in this video:
http://insider.foxnews.com/2017/10/03/new-video-inside-las-vegas-shooters-mandalay-bay-hotel-room

You can see 32134 is the adjoining room that also belonged to the shooter at the time.

Things that make you go hmmmmm...

The thing about Vegas is it's not a "long term vacation destination" for most. I would look twice if I saw a boatload of suitcases going up if it wasn't a bellman bringing them. I'd wonder wtf. Most people are only around for a weekend or week at most. JMO

Some people bring a ton of stuff. They go shopping. Some people come from foreign countries and they do a ton of shopping. Some people use Las Vegas as a jumping off point to go to other places

Las Vegas has a lot of trade shows as well and people bring tons of stuff to the show. My friends buy a ton of stuff when the shows are over because the vendors do not want to haul the stuff away.

Hang around a big hotel some day. Luggage is amazing.

I wonder if Vegas was picked due to proximity to his home and or time constraints.
Nevada to Chicago is no short drive because we know he couldn't bring his arsenal through TSA. So he'd be in for one long road trip

You can bring guns in checked luggage. Would it raise alarms? I hope so

The Aussie guy was not in his room

One thing I have been trying to find but had no luck so far is a report or diagram of where the casualties and injuries took place; I realize it is scattered but I am interested in finding out where the victims were positioned specifically individually when they were shot, and also during which bursts.

I also saw a new video in which you can hear intermittent, single shots, in the song previous to the one that the other videos show. Also saw a round hit the tent before the unleashing.

Las Vegas shooter's home broken into despite intense FBI, police interest

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2017/10/1...into-despite-intense-fbi-police-interest.html

A Nevada home the Las Vegas shooter used as a stash house for handguns, shotguns and a “plethora of ammunition” was burglarized last weekend in a stunning security breach, and comes as federal and state authorities say they're still sweeping the scene for clues.

Can anyone else get this story? It does not show up for me

So people who were there and report multiple shooters are conspiracy theorists? Again, it's quite an insult when the public discounts people who were actually there. I posted before but there are 2 people that stand out to me right now. Rocky Palermo and Gio Rios.
Look them up. Then ask yourself how a man (Rocky), can be hit while running horizontally in the pelvis, from a shot 32 floors above him. And how inside the Tropicana on the casino floor shots were fired and Gio was running for his life.

Do some digging. I'm sure there's more.

My thoughts only but amidst the mass confusion, it wouldn't be surprising if private citizens who happened to be carrying didn't shoot toward a wrongfully perceived source of gunfire unintentionally causing even greater catastrophe. Just my guess about that but the reason people carry is to defend themselves so imo it's not out of realm of possibilities. As Canadians we live in a world somewhat further apart from the mindset...not saying whether that's good or bad, just the way it is. In one of the media reports I linked earlier containing communication between officers, it was mentioned people were attempting to gain access to either vehicles and weapons, assumably in order to defend themselves.

And considering the distance of SP, there's also a high probability of ricocheting bullets giving the misperceptions of gunfire coming from various directions. In one of the media reports I read, frantic people who fled to their hotel rooms and immediately called 911 initially led LE to believe the shootings were occurring at other hotels as well.

Just my opinion but some on the internet are spreading false information because the prospect of an anonymous organized group of people is far more tantalizing to consider than just one crazy lone shooter who was obsessed with winning. But that's also perhaps what SP intended, an egotistical footprint one might say.

Which one did the Sheriff allow to take a vacation the maint guy or sec guard?

I think the FBI guy is gonna be more no comment but at least he is educated

The Sheriff is not trained in this stuff -- he keeps carrying on about looking for a "trigger point"

Perp is personality disordered -- has been his whole life. That how PD works.

The are enduring -- they are developed by childhood parenting early experiences , socialization .

Sheriffs trigger point nonsense - embedded in that is this notion of snapping.

Very few of these guys snap. Its such an archaic simpleton notion about mental illness

There is not gonna be a trigger point -- this stuff is more like a volcano that finally goes -- takes years

I think in closed doors once they heard the ole Sheriff carrying on about trigger points --they said lets get our behavioral professional folks in on this -- while he goes and looks for "a" trigger point

That is why they have not found one -- there is no such thing -- unless one is actively psychotic or delusional or hallucinating or responding to command hallucinations etc.
