According to WS rules if he hasn't been designated as a suspect or POI then, since he was shot by the suspect, he is still considered a victim. I'm not sure how you expect LE to "officially confirm" that he's a victim any more than they already have. They have stated that he is a hero and saved lives. Although the timeline has changed some, they have not officially changed their view of him as being one of the victims.

I've seen no link about him being investigated by the FBI, unless I've missed that. Quote

Rephrasing to say I have not seen the FBI investigation with JC that was referenced/originated earlier today in this thread with the term ‘victim’. I inquired because I wanted to see if the FBI confirmed that he was or was not a POI to begin with, and/or has that been verfied, or confirmed.

-I’m inclined to believe we will continue to get different reports from the FBI and LE until there are under-oath depositions from all parties. Then we may be able to see more from where MB falls on the spectrum.

-My speculation is right now there is a divide between the 3 and that could be reason for anyone to freeze.

The statements from LE saying SP's BODY and BRAIN are going to Stanford for further studying has me concerned about a couple details.
Why would they ship whole body and not just organs and brain?
Has anyone seen when the body was removed from hotel and taken to ME?

I've been reading articles on post mortem exams of brain and how they determine certain pathologies. the articles
continually stress the importance of proper preservation of body (and brain), how long after death body was fixated,
proper methods of fixation, chemicals to use or not use, etc. Failure to properly handle/preserve the body/brain
limits the accuracy as well as the outcome of many post mortem exams. In other words, it can easily be messed
up if body/brain are not properly handled and stored.

My concern is, in many murder investigations we've all seen bodies being left where killed for hours and hours after
the crime/death. Not to mention how long the body/brain was at LV ME office before being sent to Stanford.
so, not to be a pessimist but I have genuine concern that SP's brain tissue would still be viable for intricate cellular
study. My understanding is that brain tissue is highly degradeable if not properly handled and considering the
other problems we've seen with this investigation, I'm concerned. Hope I'm wrong.

What evidence is there that he came up with a sole actor? Have you contacted the sheriffs dept and asked because no evidence has been released to the public yet.

My take on it is we're but observers outside awaiting more information. It's impossible to pass judgement on what we don't know and anyway who cares?

It's the victims, survivors, their families, emergency personnel and all others directly impacted by this tragedy who matter most because they were there.

The sounds and the noise is terrible.. lots of people totally lose control and do stupid things, lots become so terrified..that they actually hallucinate.
nobody knows where the shots are coming from, they're all running and they think its from something behind them but they dont know where they're going, they're running over dead and dismembered bodies and an awful lot of blood.. sometimes they're all running in one direction and the people in front decide theres danger ahead, turn back and collide with the people who are still running forward, people fall, walk on eachother, kick eachother without noticing etc..
its an utter mass panic.. when one starts to come down, another starts going up and restarts the first...
just running ... nonsensical running cos they have no idea where they're going and they keep thnking the gun man/ bomber is behind them..
its almost like watching a weather phenomenon.. a huge wind of panic engulfing a massive crowd, each one manifesting in their own way, each different to the next, some laughing, others crying.....

11 minutes of that is a very long time. people cannot see anything, they cannot hear anything.. 99.999% of the time they are useless witnesses.
They think they saw something, they believe it, they're not lying, but oftentimes each focuses on a different 'terrorist' and their accounts dont match up.. These events cannot be re enacted either.. for coherence.
But the more I think about it the more I feel sure there must have been cCtv cameras all over the gig venue and also in the corridors of the hotel.. to prevent theft in hotel and because security and insurance would demand they be at the gig venue..

I just assumed that him was walking around ground floors all those days

when asked he shut it down and said he will not discuss what he did the day of the attack

Aside from the fact that many photos and other details are not always public, this simply isn't true (that you would KNOW) based on that, or people would not continually be running scams through social media. And they are. And prosecutions have happened for this.

You wouldn't have any idea if someone was there as it was happening if they were filming themselves? I've seen a lot of it. People filming themselves hiding in bus shelters. People filming themselves inside the Bellagio at the same time as the shootings are happening. Not sure how you could fake that. Jmo

I think you describe the level of terror very well. Almost every single account I've read, at the time nobody knew where the gunfire was coming from.
For those who were able to flee, that had to have made it all more horrifying because people couldn't know if they were fleeing to safety or to another stream of bullets.

Many of the Canadians who were there left asap and the airlines were very accommodating in altering return flight. It must be extremely challenging for LE to be dealing with the tens of thousands of witnesses who were there, who now are at home all across the country, and in other countries too.

The he changed the tune ( FBI directed him to stay the script like he did on the last one moo) and really made it clear that his
earlier statement was based on a very superficial glance at the guys brain.

He proceeded to make sure that everyone knew that a real exam was now being undertaken

and in the guy in camouflage shorts black shirt and black hat video I saw someone open the cop car and I am watching and thinking waht is he doing -- I thought he was looking for keys but he stayed in there too long

i did not think of guns but it was strange

imo that whole video was just strange

I agree all this paranoia fake news is fake news in and of itself imo the whole internet is filled with people crafting videos of 20000 people fleeing

people are not imo spending hours altering audio tracks that clearly indicate

more than person firing guns - echos do some thing specific

imo all this echo stuff does not match up


echos are from something after it is always going away from it source and losing velocity

in the taxi driver stuff that is not an echo that is someone on top of her cab (not literally) firing another gun

echos dont have a sound like at volume 10 when the gun far away is at a different volume they also dont change tone imo

the shots above her were startling loud and a totally different sound that what we heards

then again after a couple of days people that do this stuff all say at least two

they are not doing this by only sounds they are doing speed height etc etc but the real deal is timing it all out

the info is the timing -- makes sense a bullet is traveling --

one can typically tell if someone sounds knowledgeable and credible

happens with professors all the time!

Only people who really understand something can explain it a way that folks who know nothing about it can understand it
