I wonder if people understand this is still an active investigation. 58 murdered, over 500 injured and 20,000 + witnesses.

I, personally, don't believe LE owes me anything. I'm content giving them time to get to the bottom of it. And I work on the Las Vegas Strip every, single day. Without fear.

IMO, he requested that suite because he had determined it to be the best possible location to slaughter innocent people. Normal folks request specific views for entirely different reasons.

Comps are handled 2 different ways; 1) Up front if a player has a gaming history with the property or with the parent company; in this case, MGM Resorts International or, 2) A player new to the company with no play history would be comped on the back end, upon check out.

It's not an anomaly. It's the way it's done.

I'm befuddled, really, with the conspiracy theories, TBH.
This is not a conspiracy theory, actually.
This is a question.
There is a difference.
The point I made was a different registration process for comped and non comped.

There are many questions as to why an old man would slaughter innocent people, IMO. Poor and/or inaccurate reporting is nothing new.

I have another question that has been nagging at me for a few days.

Why did local civilian Texas heroes who shot at and chased the church shooter not go into hiding but instead did interviews about what they saw and what happened pretty much right away? But JC, a trained security guard, skipped out on interviews and is under protection by MGM in an undisclosed hotel in Vegas?

Thankful for all our heroes btw. Many lives were likely spared.

Because JC almost immediately was cast as a coconspirator. People even on WS were accusing him

Thank you for your insights. It is good to have actual information from someone who actually works there.

-Both the dates and the room numbers have been erratic.
I know you have been studying the lawsuits.. What is the case against the hotel, the most salient points, if you have time? does not have to be now..just whenever, I'd appreciate it? Thanks, either way.

Couple of reasons

He was shot in the leg by the killer and needed to recover

He was immediately targeted by CT nutcases who began calling and following him.

The question should be why did the extremist CT nut jobs target JC, but not the two men in Texas? I'm fairly sure I know why.

Bears, I have a question on Vegas comps. I find it odd that reports are that he was gambling 10,000 and 20,000 sessions the last few days, but was only comped three nights in a regular room. He had to pay for his night in the suite. When we used to go to Vegas and Reno once a year we barely made it to the second tier yet they would comp us three nights in a regular room.
With the amounts he was reported to be gambling, doesn't it seem odd that he wasn't comped for his forth night in the suite?

I don't have a link at hand but my impression was that was a result of investigating recent gambling sessions in LV casinos, with no specific mention of only MB.

ETA - found a link to "LV Casinos"
"On several occasions, Stephen Paddock gambled more than $10,000 per day — and in some cases more than than $20,000 and $30,000 a day — at Las Vegas casinos, according to an NBC News source who read the suspect's Multiple Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) and a casino gaming executive."

how is that a smoking gun? He could have reserved the room without his players card, and paid for it outright bc they aren’t giving free suites to joe blow off the street who doesn’t present an mlife card. Likely the person at the front desk didn’t know who he was when he reserved it.

Good point. I did not think about the possibility that he didn't show his players card. Sometimes things can seem odd but have a simple explanation or r possibility.

Do you know for a fact he did not have a lifer card or some other status that would entitle him to a free suite as well as a free room? All reports seemed to suggest he was in good stead with this hotel?
I may have read a description of his status.. I do not know where I read it, possibly as part of the report that contradicted the losing report? do you remember it?

He did have an mlife rewards card. But you don’t need to use one to reserve a room. Idk what a lifer card is.

Me too. Because instead of talking to the public they ran and hid him away.
Skipping out on interviews, no one knows where he is.
MGM is responsible IMO with how JC is being treated by people.

IIRC, we already established that there was never a time that no one knew where he was. He never actually disappeared.

Where is he now?. Hidden away in an MGM hotel by MGM. You're right, SOMEONE knows where he is, and it is MGM.

Does JC know where you are?

What are you expecting, that he check in with the media daily? Everyone has a right to privacy. That includes both you and him.

Just curious, do you only read headlines?
I read the entire article. His father spoke to ABC, however it was suggested here it's not common a spouse or family member of a mass shooter speak to the media.
This has happened mere days later. Just an observation.

I thought an article was posted some time ago that he returned to work. He's not missing, in any case, and I'm sure that MGM is not the only one who knows where he's at.
