I haven't been chiming in with thoughts for a while, but Jennifer is never far from my mind. There *needs* to be justice in this case....and the sooner, the better!

Bumping for Jennifer! Although my patience is shot with no arrest, I still lit my candle both weekend nights. :)

I never light a candle. Old German houses are made with straw and wood walls and I won't have them in the house.

What I did do though was take my mutt out into the garden in the very late hours. It was a beautiful, clear night, the stars were shining, a night bird was singing, the river was making a gentle, melancholy sound.....and I thought of Jennifer. What she will miss, and how much those she loved must miss her.

If there were faeries in my garden in the dark, they didn't bother me. Perhaps they were thinking about Jennifer too.....Or, knowing the faeries, how to get justice for her and hang whoever did this to her out to dry at the same time.

I think that's the first time Jennifer's been bumped, LivingJuicy. Sigh.

Never mind. Her case isn't going to grow cold or be forgotten. No way, no how. I would have been posting here myself for her, but I was busy doing something else for Jennifer.

Just as an aside, does anyone know what Jennifer's husband has been doing to help find out what happened to his wife? Is he still looking for vengeance, not justice? I hope LE are keeping an eye on him if so. We can't have people taking the law into their own hands.

He would be much better off spearheading public calls for someone to be arrested in her case, imo. Perhaps putting a justice for Jennifer bumper sticker on his car would help? Or responding to the local DA's post on the fb page? Anything that would help keep his wife's case in the news would be helpful now, in my opinion.

Had another feeling that today was the day some progress would be made. Again, my feeling was wrong. :(. Justice needs to come soon. How hush hush it all has been from day one baffles me. So sad that a person can be taken from this world and so little be done or lack of priority made. J4J!

Beautifully expressed zwiebel! And something to ponder as we await Justice for our sweet Jen to be served...we're still here Jenny and we will never abandon you!

Just checking in to see if there has been any news yet. I know there will be one day so I'm not disheartened. At least I'm only waiting for news.

There must be someone out there waiting for a knock on the door everyday. That can't be very pleasant.

I need a bit of help, also. Jennifer's gorgeous eyes - green or hazel? They look green to me, but I've learnt not to trust photos or even written information in this case, and I do need to know.

I wanted to stop by and say I have my blue ribbons on my 2 front trees and plan on them staying there till the person responsible for Jenns death is put away! I'm gonna have my daughter take a picture of my trees for me and I will try to post it tomorrow. We all are here waiting for justice and we will get it!!

Jen had very pretty blue eyes...

One of the other cases I've been following finally had an arrest. Alicia Moore went missing Nov 2nd and her body was found a few days later. Police finally got enough evidence to arrest her Uncle last night.

Sometimes it just takes time for all the forensics, etc. Hang on! :moo:

:please:

She was a very pretty woman...

It's good to see you here, Rick, hope you're doing ok.

Thanks Wolf.

It has been very difficult waiting for justice for Jennifer , especially after I was under the impression things were finally moving a few weeks ago. But here we are, waiting still.

The only thing that keeps me strong is the belief that unless something totally unexpected turns up, the wait will be worth it....

BTW, I've been meaning to clear up some misinformation. I had stated, incorrectly, that Jen's parents left for Arizona right after Thanksgiving. Actually they departed more like mid October. Sorry for the confusion (on my part).

I'm still here thinking about Jen every day :(. I don't have much to add though. We are flying from here to St. Louis in a couple weeks and I was hoping to get a quick trip on to NY to see family. Unfortunately it's not going to happen because of the way the appointments are set up for my daughter (we are coming to see a specialist). I'm bummed because I would have liked to have been there if there was going to be any kind of event and I thought it might happen.

Thanks Wolf.

I can't imagine how difficult and frustrating it must be for you. I think about Jennifer every day, check every day hoping for news of an arrest. If she could get so much under the skin of a stranger thousands of miles away, how much harder it must be to be close.

The day's going to come. It must.

Thanks Wolf.

Thank you Rick -- I take great hope from your comment about the wait being worth it -- it sounds like final bits of evidence of being confirmed in preparation...

On another topic, rejoicing that those 3 missing young women were found alive in Ohio -- missing for 10 years! That story highlights the important role of common citizens in missing persons cases.

Hi Abigail,

Based on what I know and what I've been told, I believe your statement is accurate. Of course few things can be predicted with 100% certainty so there is potential for a different, unexpected outcome. However I am of the opinion that possibility is slight.

Hoping it will be soon....

I sure hope we do have a arrest soon! My heart hurts for Jenns parents and children and her sister! On a good note I did talk to someone about putting flowers and ribbons were Jenn was found, and its a go for the locals!! I was there last week and there are some flowers down over the bank were she was, I also have been told that GR has taken the kids there to but I do not know if that is true! I have seen a light blue van up there, I was unsure if you could share with us if that is GRs new van color rick.

Good to see you here RickB.

I still check on Jennifer every day, I've just been quietly waiting for an arrest.
