"The way the body, the way my wife was found was via a tip,” Ramsaran continued

The body? That's how he describes her? That's the first thing that comes out of his mouth and then he quickly corrects himself.
Still says "my wife" never says Jennifer or Jenny, very strange.
Who would say "the body" to describe a loved one who was confirmed dead only hours before???
I would think it would take sometime to even accept the death and you would still say "when the found Jenny" etc. His coldness still manages to shock me

OT on Saturday, there is an episode of "Scorned" on Discover ID description reading "man has affair with wife's friend". Does not say which case, or what happens...

Thanks for the head's up! Here's the episode description:

Saturday March 2, 10pm ET
Devil Inside
Christopher Coleman, a devoutly religious bodyguard, sheds the pious life he has always known to embark on an illicit affair with his wife's friend from high school. His wife Sheri tries to save her marriage - a fight ending in very tragic results

I remember this case, and I saw a clip about this episode on Jane Valez Mitchell a couple of weeks ago and wanted to watch it but didn't know when it was airing. Thanks again, setting my DVR!

I can't recall if her clothing was found at the scene?

excerpts from article:

Now from prison he’s answering questions that many have been asking, like why does he think the jury found him guilty if he’s actually innocent.

“I don't know if you'd say wrong place, wrong time, but more of a moral thing in a small town community,” Coleman said. “With the affair going on and so forth.”

The jurors who initially wanted to find him not-guilty say dates of the affair were key to changing their minds. Coleman claimed the affair started in November. A picture of him kissing Lintz was traced to his phone in October. Jurors said if he lied about that then he could be lying about everything. Even with those phone records Coleman insists the affair didn’t start in October.

When asked what he wanted to happen to the person who he thinks committed the murders, he said, “It would be nice if the same thing that happened to my family happened to that person.”

Not that we've heard - the only thing we've heard is that she was nude.

I wonder if she ever actually got dressed that day. Maybe she was attacked in the shower or while changing. If this happened at home, by her husband, I think it would be very difficult to dress a body. Leaving her near the side of a road may have come about out of desperation to make it appear a random sex crime.

The article mentions that unusual phrase 'earthly body'. I've seen that somewhere before. Has someone felt it necessary to be coached and prepped before media interviews?

Yes that is something I have found strange from the start. The fact that he couldn't even use his own wording and speak from the heart. He has constantly repeated the phrases "hope, you must always have hope, until there is evidence to prove otherwise" "there is no evidence to suggest foul play" "we are looking for a living Jennifer" and now the "earthly body" statement.
These are all word for word lnm slogans/quotes.
It's like he couldn't think of way to make himself appear to care so was given advice and what to say.
Having said that when he does use his own words it's even worse!:waitasec:

I saw that too. How disgusting, IMO.
Also the fact that he had forgiven the investigators, which I thought was odd.

He keeps adding in his standard disclaimer:
"I've never lied. I've always told the truth about everything."

I think he thinks if he keeps saying it enough, that people are going to believe it.

He also forgives investigators for the countless hours they spent hours searching his home, looking for clues.

BBM: someone please let me know if they can make sense out of this....huh?

Jen was missing for 78-79 days... they have spent countless hours working on this entire case

I really think that he assumes he has an "air tight" alibi and now there is some sort of conclusion, he thinks he can't possibly be blamed. Now he is (in his mind) declaring his innocence and saying 'I forgive' LE and others for thinking it was me.

like thanking people;
"it's over now...move along"

"Please allow the family privacy at this time"

Um- does not seem he wants privacy- he called media, did phone & video interviews- even said daughter's name in one!

This case is just making me go :thud: repeatedly.

I can't believe the people who have risked their reputation to defend him. :waitasec:
I can't believe a lot of things in this case.

But the biggest thing making me :panic: is this guy reminds me SO much of Josh Powell.
I can just see Josh in that interview when I see this guy speak... they are so similar. :panic:

That is freaking terrifying to even think. Please... get those kids out of there. :please:

If he is going to be arrested then completely surprise him with it.
Don't give him any indication there is an issue.

Don't give him a chance to repeat Josh Powell's actions. Please. Let's learn from that tragedy? :please:

I think someone posted something about this case here on Jen's thread recently, but wanted to post again to note the similarities:

Minn. Man Charged With Murdering Missing Wife
article posted Feb 28th
http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/minn-man-charged-murdering-missing-wife-18622096

A missing Minnesota woman's husband was charged Thursday with murder, after investigators found blood on the floor, furniture, walls and stairs of the couple's home as well as evidence of an extensive effort to cover it up.

Authorities said they have not found 30-year-old Kira Trevino's body, but they believe she's dead because of the amount of blood found in her car and in the couple's St. Paul home, and because it wasn't like her to disappear without telling anyone.

According to police, Trevino called Sunday to report that he hadn't heard from his wife since Friday morning, when he said she went to run errands. He told officers she was going through a "mid-life crisis" and had been leaving for up to three days at a time and lying about where she was staying.

Family members and friends told police that Kira Trevino had been unhappy and had talked about moving out over the past few months.

Let's hope LE has similiar evidence in Jennifer's case that we just haven't heard about yet!

Wasn't there an interview, a while back, (I should look for it, I know I know) where he said something like 'if only I'd gotten dressed and gone with her', in reference to the mall?

Always wondered what he meant by that. Was he in workout clothes? Or perhaps pajamas? I know a fair few parents who do the school run in PJs, though I'd be surprised if GR did, as he seems pretty keen on looking good.

Alternatively, I wonder if this was some sort of freudian slip, w/r/t who was and was not dressed that morning.
