LE took statements on May 1st.

And you have not seen those statements, nor know their contexts, so don't offer paraphrases of them.

That JB is sleazy for hiring prostitutes seem to be incontestable, but claims here and elsewhere that he is guilty of not only Shannan's murder, but those of the entire killing field are based essentially only on the belief that they are true. He's the only name we have, so we websleuthers run wild with every piddling detail.

This is why I am totally convinced that the much older remains found in Nassau of the man and the child ARE NOT the work of this SK. They were both found in an extremely busy section of Ocean Parkway where the speed limit is slower and the police presence is tremendous.

Sorry Seaslug but I think the woman and the child were found furthest east by Cedar Beach in Babylon. The man's body was found west of Cedar but east of the other 5 remains at Hemlock Cove.

As a matter of fact, this is my thinking, going from east to west. Woman and child bodies by Cedar beach ARE NOT the work of this SK. Man's body east of Hemlock Cove is not related to the woman and child and ARE NOT the work of this SK. The 5 prostitutes west of Hemlock Cove are the work of the SK. The skull found near Lido Beach by the pond is totally unrelated. And the leg bones found furthest west by the new sewer line is totally unrelated as well.

If you look on google earth, you can see a large white building with a pier at the same location this map lists. Is that an office building. do you know?

Elsewhere, it lists his business address as XXXX Oak Beach Assoc. Obviously "Oak Beach Association" is not a road, but there is a XXXX Oak Beach Rd. It appears to be a house. I'm beyond confused. How were patients supposed to find this doctor?

Got any thoughts I can bounce off of? I'm at my wits end.

My first choice would be to call NY State LE PR see what they say more see what run around you get. It has got to be somewhere. Where are all the Super Sleuths?

Hi RIGHTEOUS, Here in the Pacific NW I'd know who to call plus they are usually named. Even the laison from the Seattle FBI office in the Lindsay Baum case had his name in the paper.

I've been to Boston and NYC years ago but don't know how their county gvnmt works. For instance here the counties have a Sheriff who has investigators within his dept. I would think that would be the same in Suffolk County but really don't know. And since the 4 bodies found last year were in Suffolk County, I would think one of their main investigators would be in charge.

I can see why they are using the NYC forensic labs as they are probably the best in the area besides Quantico. xox

Also interesting is no one ever saw carrion birds in that area which they thought was odd.

That would line up with what Nancy Grace has been spouting about the killer removing flesh from the bones before dumping them.

Soaking the bodies in chemicals -- maybe lime? -- before dumping might also keep carrion birds away.

This SK, he's no out of work landscaper. He is no "drifter." He is a guy who has such an huge ego, so cocky, so self confident--that he drove up and picked ALC up from her house--SOMEHOW CONVINCING HER TO NOT TAKE A CELL PHONE on an OUTCALL---never to be seen again. What kind of smooth talking must he have done to get her guard down like that? I'd also like to know HOW JB got SG to travel from NJ to Oak Beach--not a short trip, and not an easy trip.

Frankly, I think they both knew the john, and were with him previously. ALC wasn't afraid to leave without her cell, and SG was OK with arriving in the middle of nowhere at 2AM...Why? Because they KNEW him, they trusted him. He groomed them, and then he killed them. Melissa Barthelemy left the Hauppauge hotel at 1:30 am after her pimp got a call--you know what the caller said? The same thing he told ALCs pimp.."I'm up the block, tell her to come out" The Hauppauge hotel is a known hotel for escorts to host Incalls--buy yet there she was going on an outcall, alone.

He is smart, slick, smooth, good looking, cocky, more of a Ted Bundy than a Joel Rifkin. He's from the area for sure. He's sadistic, he's very tech savvy, he's a convincing liar and I can't emphasize this enough--a very good talker, I think he comes across as many classes above the pimps/escorts--almost impressive to them, a real high roller. The guy who spends time in the champagne room with private dances, throwing cash around. I wouldn't be surprised if he was in the "industry"--making *advertiser censored* or running strip clubs. A player--a kingpin of sorts. He must have "dirt" on some of these drivers/pimps--because I don't think they are all being truthful, WHY? I think they're scared they might disappear too.

Excellent description! And I actually know a guy that fits your description to a T! Except he is not really good looking. But he is cocky and he is in the industry. Hangs out at strip clubs but not out by the stage. He sits in the back and talks with the girls that are off-duty and off the stage. He does work for the girls on the side. He's not an out-of-work landscaper but he did lose his real job a couple of years ago. But he has plenty of inheritance money and other income to keep up with his lifestyle.

We always joked that this guy probably had bodies buried under his house. I hope that's not the case. But I'm keeping a close eye on him.

I can't say we have much more crime and LE is in different jurisdictions. In NYC we don't have a Sheriff who handles crime the Sheriff handles Evictions, Cars more Civil stuff. We have 5 separate boroughs plus LI which handles things different altogether, then we have NY State, outside of NYC. I know you have to go where the Crime took place they have jurisdiction but Higher levels always step in to take over, Politics. man sorry I asked,jk.

It would be nice to have the minutes of some, any or all of the LE Press. Is the DA involved at this point? Some States or City's do this different I believe. The DA runs the show on high profile Cases, I believe a Suspect has to be in play for this I'm not really sure.
