I heard or read (can't keep things straight right now lol) it's 400 miles from the prison.

Not really if you think that one of the guys is from Steuben county - where they were first seen yesterday and using the southern tier expressway that could take them toward the direction of Buffalo - where the 2nd one is from and close to the Canadian border (Niagara Falls).

They just don't want to pay the reward money for information leading to the apprehension and arrest of these 2.

Remember the cop who was killing cops and their relatives in ca was held up in a wooded area. But everyone who called it in was not eligible. The cops even shot at the newspaper delivery driver and her daughter. Then the poor couple who cabin was invaded was not eligible for the reward nor the guy with the dog who was carjacked which ultimately led police to THE cop Dorne who killed himself or died in the shoot out. Some agencies started pulling part of that million dollar reward off the shelf.

So if your tip or sighting leads to an arrest then you should get the reward. Jmo

It has to be Matt and Sweat because when the helicopter was right over them, the "suspects" didn't show signs of deferring to LE (I assume). Who else but the escapees would keep trying to elude? It has to be them. I bet they split up though once they were spotted.

Tioga county, PA is adjacent to Steuben county, NY.

(note : Do not confuse Tioga county PA with Tioga county NY, not only are they separate locations but they do not border one another.)
