Does any of you Sleuthers know if the judge could have something done over the defense attorney that keeps calling objections to everything the prosecution says without anything to back up the objections other than just to discourage the prosecution attorneys while trying to present their case, seems to me that defense attorney could be disbarred for such action, JMO

No it's all part of the process...it has to be... involves having the foundations, objections on record, for whatever appeals are made if and when the defendant is convicted.

It's just strange to me that they make an objection without stating a reason and the judge either asks them for the basis of their objection .. or the judge makes one up for them. I've seen it over and over since this trial began. It's definitely hard to hear sometimes so you are probably right that the objections that are back to back are for the same reason. I just personally think if the lawyers can't state the reason for their objection or state the wrong reason, then that objection should be denied. IMO the judge shouldn't have to make a case for them.

I think they get frustrated with having to repeat the same grounds. I really wish AC's co-counsel did more questioning (I can't think of his name but it's not Junk).

True but most prosecutors are going to arrest someone for a high profile murder -- a with no statue of limitations -- unless they have more than probable cause

Cops make arrests, but arrests don't always result in a prison sentence.

I don't think Judge Deering has been consistent in his ruling or that he wants to 'pi$$' off anyone. I don't know his history. I still believe that early on it was said that a special judge would hear theses cases. JMO

Sometimes when there's a standing objection to the same line of questioning the reason isn't stated again and again. The judge will say overruled or sustained and briefly state the why for the court reporter. I've seen that before

I knew it. I mentioned it before. I thought it was Angela's idea for the hair dye. It is so stupid to do it that it doesn't surprise me she did it. She seems to have come up with many ideas but then not thought through any consequences. Like now what do we do?

She left too much evidence. For starters, her laptop, shoe receipt and custody documents, casings, cistern suppressor, and shopping in Walmart - the store with the most security including the outside security of her getting into the passenger side of her truck with everyone but Billy in the truck.

At first this seemed like a sophisticated operation as DeWine said, but now we know it was anything but sophisticated. Incompetent, impulsive, the before not considered, over kill, murder kit paper trail, footprints, innocent witnesses killed, a mess getting into Frankie's house, and so much more.

i am just so grateful the wagners are so incredibly stupid when it came to everything except the actual assault. they handled this crime as if there was a tape to break at the finish line and once they were back home after murders it was over. once again im glad they did not do smarter things but.... billy is actually the "best" murderer of all of them. he stuck to what he knows and what he taught his sons- leave no witnesses, physical evidence or image of your person being there, sabotage the scene do not leave until your sure dna is not let behind. use a car never seen before not connected on paper. immediatly hide and get rid o weapons. tell no one. burn everything.

all the receipts, text messages, social media, purchases, "lists of guns" . shell casings of a rare type. a trail of evidence everywhere they went including forged custody papers they never used nor needed to keep but that along with the shoes told bci it was definitly them along with the shell casings. from there the wagners left all the pieces behind police needed to piece everythingi back together. why are they even agreeing to be interviewed at border? it was all hubris on aw. she thought she was so damn smart just like in the groups. but everyone sees right thru her. they are all terrible horrible people. but the fact that angela cooked up this abuse story with sofia to spark the murder of 8 innocent people alone is reason for her death at hands of the state. its travesty it wont happen officcially

AW has got to be the dumbest of them all. The physical and digital footprint she left behind provided all the crumbs needed to help LE rid society of W clan. Loose lips sinks ships was proven right in this case. You are surrounded by wooded hills and you got lazy in the cover-up. I would have had a hole dug so deep to bury the items; LE would have never found the items. We could've gotten lucky and a hunter shot the 3 stooges for the Turkey's they are!!

He is Special Prosecutor Andrew Wilson. He was Clark Country Prosecutor from 2011 - 2019, then joined Gov DeWine's team and subsequently appointed special prosecutor on this case.

It's the Dunning-Kruger Effect applied to the entire family. Probably comes with being enmeshed and not socializing enough in the outside world

Another married at 16, baby at 17. Did she ever work? Social Security Benefits? I'm sure she is eligible for Section 8 housing, food stamps, and all the other benefits we offer the poor. Did she have a mortgage on her house - if not, where are the proceeds from the sale of that house? Might not find housing in an area she wants to live, but she did make her own bed by making poor choices.

ETA: I just reread the tweets from her testimony. She owned 50 acres of land where she planned on building a house. Where was that money going to come from?

Agree with everything stated. Getting Tattoos 5 or 6 weeks after the murders is just asking for LE to look into you more. Perhaps they should have just got a flashing neon sign letting everyone know they have killed before. Wow. just Wow.
