Talking to attorney trying to hear what they're saying. Something about a search warrant and there were some things the attorney didn't want to give to the prosecution but had to.

Can't confirm anything, but I have the impression FW is following the cases of the W4 very closely. Probably talking regularly with their attorneys.

I don't thing they don't want to prosecute. They want to limit how much evidence they reveal publicly before the murder trials. They'll probably be back for FW at a later date. That's probably why FW is radio silent right now. JMO

She was very chatty earlier, when GW4's attorney was there. They talked at great length. I couldn't hear all of it, but I believe he was discussing GW4's case. The guy in the black polo shirt, JMO, is the bailiff. He was also very friendly with her. He actually sat next to her and talked for quite a while. They must be personal friends.

Defense attorneys met with client for an hour today. All ok with GW4 and his representation.

Discovery in this case - one delivery maybe two, still not complete. All material will be done by Aug 1. Still a lot of materials. Bill of particulars - has been filed on July 18. Pre-trial motions to have been filed by today. Altering schedule somewhat. Received a motion from defense to continue the trial. Prosecution does not object. Defense filed 6 pretrial motions, need to be scheduled for hearing. Need all filed ASAP. Non-substantive motions should be filed by Aug 31, Sept 13, prosecution respond. Sept. 20 (?) will have hearing on those.

Continuance of jury trial - lack of discovery, etc. Right to speedy trial issue. GW4 waiving his right to speedy trial, signed it. Court approves.

Court understands there may be substantive motions, will they need another pre-trial? On oral hearing date can set dates for substantive motions.

AC notes GW4 is appearing in street clothes and without visible restraints.
Judge rules in favor of continuing trial to a date not yet included. Adjourned.

FW was talking to GW4's attorney about someone coming to look at something. He said he would come look.

Thanks, that's what I thought. As I mentioned, he's very friendly with FW. Sat next to her for quite a while to talk and laugh, etc.

ETA: I also heard GW4's attorney saying to GW4 something about "its really not fair" afterwards. Assume he's complaining about the delays in discovery, though AC has pointed out this process has been slowed down because defense attorneys keep bringing the wrong size/type hard drives to download the discovery files. GW4's attorney may be trying to tell him the delays in the trial date (and having to waive the right to speedy trial) are all the fault of prosecution. JMO, only my interpretation of the remarks I overheard.

JMO...a few things I noticed about GW3:

Has lost alot of weight! At least one shirt size in neck, if not two.

Still appears extremely angry.

I just noticed today how much he is like Angela, in mannerisms, expressions and speaking.

Still answers Judge Deering with just a "yes" and "no" and BEFORE Judge Deering even finishes the questions. Very disrespectful! IMO. I'm sure his attorneys have spoken to him about his attitude, but he really doesn't care. JMO

She did it to one Wagner that was involved in these murders one way or another, the state spent all that money on FW pre-trials just to let her go until they get more evidence on her, Canepa made the statement that FW was there during the talks of revenge against state officials and still didn’t have enough evidence to prosecute FW, do they have enough to prosecute GW4? JMO

IIRC, that’s not the reason she dropped the charges. The receipt documents brought new information to light and there was not enough time to investigate without compromising her right to a speedy trial. The charges were dropped so a thorough investigation and, IMO, we will see these charges and possibly more in the near future. Prosecution has six years from May 2017 to recharge her. She’s not out of the woods yet.

"PIKE COUNTY, Ohio (FOX19) - The murder trial for one of the suspects in the 2016 Rhoden family murders has been pushed back as defense attorneys accept a mound of evidence from the state.

Still wearing a court-ordered shock vest underneath his civilian clothes for security reasons, George Wagner IV appeared in court Tuesday. Pike County Circuit Judge Randy Deering gave his attorneys more time to prepare their case....

When Wagner IV was in court last month, Judge Deering set a Sept. 4 trial date. On Tuesday, the date was moved back to an undetermined date.

The special state prosecutor gave the defense team two terabytes of information.

“And that’s a great deal of material for the defense attorneys to look at, I’m sure," said Deering.

The prosecutor, who calls this one of the most complex criminal cases in state history, says there are more than 2 million items on the disc. The evidence includes documents, recordings, videos, pictures, cell phone records and forensic reports.

Wagner was taken back to the Ross County Jail where he is being housed...."

IMO the time of purchase of the BPVs is not the issue. It’s more likely WHO actually did the ordering and possibly the reason for ordering (ie, protection for any retaliation against LE or as a replacement for some that may have taken a dive in a well somewhere) JMO
