Pufnstuf- stay far away from Lars. Very far away. Ha.

Whoever asked if there was wild fruit ripe in the area- after looking at the terrain, I'm thinking not yet. Both raspberries and blackberries won't be ripe for at least another month, strawberries maybe but the thick trees plants around there don't look like they'd give strawberries any space to grow. Blackberry bushes are so thick in those areas.

About six minutes

I wonder if the searchers left any bottles of water in the woods for him, like they did with Nadia...just in case.

Hi all ~
Have been lurking for 6 days now, since sweet little Kyron went missing (on my birthday) :(

I have nothing constructive to add to the mix, except to say that I don't believe he just wandered off somewhere on his own. He seems like a very responsible young man who would know better than that.

That said, my prayers are with him and his family at this time. I pray that God is holding Kyron firmly and safely in the palm of His hand and I pray that we will be lead to where he is, very very soon.

Wow, that liar liar pants on fire woke me up!

Kyron Not On Amber Alert

You’ve seen the pictures, the faces of abducted children broadcasted around the U.S., on TV, the radio, and on reader boards for all to see. If you visit the Amber Alert website, there’s no alert for Kyron Hormon. That’s because, even though Kyron is missing, and there’s a desperate search to find the 7 year old boy from Portland, his case doesn’t fit the strict rules for Amber Alerts.

He is considered as a missing or endangered child that means there are also no descriptions of a suspect or a vehicle. There are several dedicated Facebook pages to finding Kyron. Kyron is also on the missing, and exploited children’s website, and the FBI’s top endangered list. Eugene police and authorities across the Northwest are also distributing missing fliers, hoping someone spots the boy, or calls in a tip that brings Kyron home

I keep thinking this is exactly why that Truckers news channel for missing children and adults which was discussed a few months back is so important. (KlaasKids project link here:
[ame="http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?t=91608"]Urgent:The FCC Won't Help KlaasKids Find the Missing./FCC Finally Provides Answer - Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community[/ame] ) :banghead: If it doesn't fit the criteria for an Amber alert, why not have they eyes and ears on our roads be on the lookout? Sorry for the bit of OT....

LEO introduced a different sheriff. Didn't catch his name.

Will expand and continue search.

Will bring in hundreds of searchers this evening. Will continue until the case is resolved.

Introducing another sheriff. Evinger(?)

Man head of SAR to speak. Sorry didn't catch his name.

Different sheriff (Evinger?) now speaking.

Talking about logistics of search efforts.

More resources coming. They will house them.

Will be under direction of Sergeant Olsen.

Various counties are assisting. They will remain. New resources are augmenting.

They will arrive in waves. Their goal is to get as many searchers on the ground as quickly as possible.

Police have now arrested 36-year-old Tony Phipps, a registered sex offender from St. Helens. He is being held under charges of harassment.

Couldn't this be a possible perp? Look at his photo. I don't know if he'd stand out at school function or not.

I don't think he would, not from the pic. From the original story when he was described he would have.

I have to agree with this guy (the Sheriff from the other county) that the amount of cooperation is incredible. The size of the search is amazing. I can't think of another one where there was this organized, enormous response.

Another speaker. Woman.

Searchers don't want to stop even when they're tired.

Thank you community for donations for the searchers.

She's done speaking. Back to the last guy.

More searchers coming - 6+ counties sending resources

SAR still going full steam, additional counties from south added, don't want to take any breaks

Multiple independent teams searching (certified)

Thanking community

FBI mobile command post has arrived

Is it me or did this just take a step up?Maybe where the Dad works and them being watched 24/7 might be holding more merit to this. Are they being protected or is it just precaution?

Setting up internet.

Command vehicle in the process of getting set up. Well on its way to being set up.

All about bringing Kyron home.

They need tips.
