Great news about the search being held for Holly this coming Saturday...

:praying: and thoughts to our WSers that will be searching... And for ALL the searchers!

:grouphug:

I'm familiar with the meeting place for this search. The parking lot of the 7-11 is very small, and it's at a fairly busy intersection. There is some sort of Lodge, or VFW directly across the street. I wonder if they'd be willing to let searchers park their vehicles there, until the search location is disclosed and everyone goes about their way. It would only be for a few minutes, and they probably aren't using it at 9:30 am on a Saturday. I'm foreseeing some major traffic/parking issues if a large number of people show up.

So glad to see there will be another search for Holly. I may have missed it but is it based on a tip?

Searching areas that are remote, accessible from the area she went missing and would hide a body for a long period of time.

We will be getting touch with this morning to speak with them and ask for permission. Will update the event page when we have answers.

By being a local, who at one time lived close to the rendevous area for this search, I've figured out where it's taking place. I know of two other *highly* accessible, large, remote areas within a short driving distance from where Holly disappeared. Places where bodies could be concealed for long periods. If these new efforts turn up fruitless, I would very much like to disclose the other areas that I am aware of. One of these areas I know very, very well, in fact have the trails and surrounding terrain memorized due to spending so much time there during childhood.

:welcome: Imthemom!

Great to have additional enthusiasm on board!

I can give a recap of todays search. The group of about 30 searched Constitution dr. in Allentown. There is a dirt road that runs along the Lehigh River and along train tracks. It is an area that would be an easy place to hide a body or more so, dump and go. There were many state agents, a federal agent, trained search and rescue individuals, a search and rescue German Shepard, friends and strangers. All there on their own accord. Truly a group of caring people. Not to mention packing a lot of heat. It was bitter cold. Bitter. Dressing appropriately is no joke. We split up in two groups. Both groups had areas and items that were of interest. Potential evidence was taken for further analysis. Everyone seemed to have a renewed passion of finding Holly and bringing her home. Everyone also keeps in mind the other missing women from the Lehigh Valley. I felt honored and humbled to be a part of an amazing group of LE and others today.

Heartgoesout~
How very fortunate that you live close enough to be involved in the search.
I cannot think of a more noble volunteer effort than trying to find someone so the mysteries are answered and the family can attempt to heal.
Blessings to all the searchers today for their commitment!

Holly lives about a mile away from me. Our children go to the same HS. Even though our paths probably would have never crossed, she has touched my heart. I know every websleuth member on here would be out there if they could. Everyone deserves to come home to their family.

p.s. trackergd is just as cool as you'd think he'd be. ; )
