MANICORE INDUSTRIES INC 118 River Av (Palatka) [323]
it's a retention pond.

Are there any locals here? I'm reading that there may be a media report going on locally?

They do their news at this time. One of them streams live, can't remember which now.

Thanks! That explains a lot! So they would not care if their property was being used for parties or other things really because they would not know. OK now...who owns Manicore Industries Inc.?!

I agree. The pain and torture of waiting for news of your loved one to possibly be found dead and being lied to on top of everything else is too much, imo. :( I don't know how people function during these searches. I would fall apart each and every time, but people handle the stress differently I suppose.

Marie was supposedly online talking football and cheering on her favorite team. I don't know what Teresa was doing, but I guess she was coping the best way she knew how, too. As for Ronald and Crystal, it appears since she was in contact with him that they were being civil and discussing what was taking place which hopefully is a positive sign between them.

Has anyone stopped to think that MAYBE this is WHY LE did not inform the family that they were searching? Why make them go through more pain needlessly?

The way that many posters have bashed PCSO tonight is very sad. While you don't have to agree with their handling of the situation, the men and women of ALL police departments should be respected...PCSO included. My DH is a 30 year veteran of LE. He has endured some of the worst of humanity and still gets up everyday to endure more. Try living the life of a family member of a peace officer, it's pure HELL. Never knowing if your loved one is coming home because a drugged up maniac decides to shot, or a drunk driver hits them while on a traffic stop...them HAVING to go out to PROTECT others when a hurricane is hitting because it's HIS JOB. Meanwhile leaving HIS family all alone WITHOUT protection. Only to be bashed on a board because some FEEL it's their DUTY to keep them informed. News flash, it's NOT. Their responsibility is to HALEIGH CUMMINGS, remember her? IF she's in this pond, heaven forbid, it's their JOB to bring her home and to make sure those that are responsible are brought to justice.

Sorry for the long post, but it's disturbing to see LE bashed by those that are sometimes clueless. JMO

in the next 12 hours will be when the search gets more interesting as they will be able to see more in the lake. Do we know if they will drain it completely? The more I think about the grid line search of people in the water today depicted in the post here up to their chests, the more I realize they shouldn't have been doing that yet.
wonder if TM is consulting on this search? Does anyone know how he and LE in this area got along in the past? I can't recall ever seeing them together in interviews, etc..

Since LE has confirmed they have fount some evidence, what likely would be the chances the person responsible would have drove all over the place disposing of evidence in different spots? I just don't believe so.
That official news letter update from the pcso lacked substance, it felt more like an admonishment than a public notice.

Wonder if they have been bugged so much by those off the net that it's caused them to completely shut down. Always in missing child cases, LE is glad to give updates periodically, if nothing but to keep the childs name out there. This Sheriff says he won't be holding a pressor til he has something ready to report. I really don't like how that comes across. He should be doing periodical pressors at least locally, not saying nationally, reminding persons to call in tips, etc... who may have information. Meaning a constant presence and request towards the public.

It's Putnam's very own missing little child and the sheriff doesn't want to give a regular pressor for the locals in the area? Doesn't feel right.

SC, I kindly disagree with you on one thing. The word bash. I'm not bashing them, and have always posted respectfully concerning LE. We're just questioning a few things that has been done. I appreciate LE, though never had a family member working for them, but I can say I pray nightly for all of our men and women in uniform.

I just made a post about my reservations on a certain subject, which is only a small part of this case. Bashing LE would be saying very harsh, cruel remarks with not a bit of corroborating information posted with it to substantiate that posters opinion, sort of just posting to say mean things, with no content to follow or reasoning involved.

Overall, their out following up on this case, doing searches, interviews in that I think they are trying very hard.

If you don't understand Hardy then you might have missed he was only in office a very short time before he got this case. He had no clue how to handle a high profile case on top of a position of power he never held before. The department was at a loss on two fronts. He stated then the same thing about pressers, but it was because he was so inexperienced, imo. He looked like a deer in headlights, imo. He said then he wouldn't be holding pressers and he has been true to his word in that respect. Bad decision, imo.

I am not going into what we have been dealing with here the past few hours, but I will say that it makes no difference in the outcome. Either Haleigh is there or she is not there. I don't honestly believe they will find her in that pond unless they have been given direct knowledge. The "evidence" they claim to have found could be anything at this point. Hard to believe now anything they say or take it seriously as having much to do with Haleigh going missing.

One thing about WS members, we have the utmost respect for law enforcement and appreciate their sacrifice, as well as the sacrifices of their family members. When we say "LE" here, we are talking about specific choices that were made, possibly by just one person in charge - who knows?

I know for certain that everyone here appreciates those men and women who put their lives on the line to protect us and seek justice for all victims. :grouphug:

NOT IF HER GRANDSON IS INVOLVED IN IT

Exactly. I believe that the family should have a right to know but considering the circumstances LE thought is was not time to tell the family. They know the family is talking to the media. So whatever they would tell the family would surely be "breaking news" because the family is talking with reporters.

does anyone besides me find it odd the two men and a woman escorting nay nay into headquarters? Looks like a serious walk to a serious interview room. Could it have been done to intimidate her into talking? Show of force?

Since when did she get out of jail?! I see no handcuffs and nothing to show she is in custody here?! WTH?!

She's not out of jail, looks to be the blue prison uniforms in their mug shots.
I am still wondering if they talked to Amber at all.

Annette (GGM) speaks.

The video is up.

Also shows "NayNay" being brought in for questioning.

in this footage it says the search is located near Haleighs old home.

It also shows the actual area on a map of the search location. i tried to screen shot and couldn't. Everyone needs to go view, shows the actual pumps draining and more on site coverage. So evidentally some type of camera crew has been let in to film.

I agree. While it sounds like I put down LE all the time...I am not. It is the person behind the decisions which is the person in charge of the case that I am taking issue with on any given case.

I have the utmost respect for our homefront soldiers. They are the ones that come to our rescue, put their lives on the line every day, and I applaud them. I have family in LE. I am not "anti-establishment" or against them in any way.
