I bet they are having some knock-down drag-out screaming matches over this.

She will want to testify because:
a) She's Jodi.
b) She enjoys the spotlight.
c) She likes the sparring with Juan.
d) She wants to torture Travis's family as long as possible.

Nurmi will want her not to testify because:
a) She's Jodi.
b) Juan will make mincemeat out of her.
c) He wants to be able to whine upstream that she couldn't get a fair hearing because she was afraid to testify.

I'm sure there are other reasons for and against. I'm running against the current of most of you - until yesterday I figured she'd testify. Now I'm not so sure though I think he still wants to. If she does, the cynic in me thinks that there's still some sort of wild card possibility like yakking it up for days on end with Jen or Nurmi, then getting fake panic attacks, seizures, fainting spells, etc. when cross starts. It depends on whether she sees that as a sign of weakness on her part or his finale in terms of manipulation. Anything's possible in this crazy case.

I, too, am glad that Juan was successful in introducing doubt that they were ever an "official" couple yesterday. It makes me think of a French movie with Audrey Tautou, "He Loves Me...He Loves Me Not". Just wondering if anyone here has seen it. If not, it would be a great movie to watch this weekend.

I was shocked at what she was wearing yesterday! I watched her first trial and she always looked like the innocent,dorky librarian( no offense to librarians). IMO, nothing JA does is planned to the nth degree with the help of the DT. I wonder if they thought that there was a juror that she could look sexy for. Maybe they noticed him glancing at her frequently. But I agree with most of you that it was a huge FAIL! Especially with the letter being read. I hope her fate was sealed yesterday.

Thank you for the warm welcome. I believe as long as JA is breathing she will continue to torment the Alexander's. My husband had a psycho ex girlfriend that tried to kill him. At the time early 90's she went for mental treatme. She continued to keep track of him calling wnd hanging up things like that. We were always looking over our shoulder and had strict rules regarding who could pick up the children cause we were warned she might take them to get hubby to leave me. Ten years later she got his work number and called him, he didnt recognize who it was right away when he did he hung up. We heard after that because he talked to her it was a sign to her that he still cared. I always still fear her showing up.
So I dont think JA will everstop either only with death one day

AZL question: When do judges usually see the evidence? Is the first time typically when one side wants to enter it, or do they usually see all or most of it well in advance? There's a middle ground too. If they don't see it in advance, I presume either side has a mechanism by which they can let the judge see it shortly before they plan to introduce it so the judge can be ready to decide on the spot whether to allow it or not.*

What made me think of this is wondering when JSS first saw that letter. It didn't come into evidence during the first trial, but in theory she could have seen it then though it may not have been in the state's possession yet back then. What would be your guess?

*For your amusement in a similar vein: My (unfortunately) Travis County DA Ronnie Earle got Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison indicted some years back. As I recall, when the trial started he wanted the judge to rule on admissibility of all his evidence as soon as he started his case. The judge said no thanks, I'll decide as it comes up in the course of the trial. Earle pitched a fit and said he couldn't continue without knowing what would be allowed. The judge said that's fine and directed the jury to render a not guilty verdict, and one of the shortest high-profile trials ever was over.

Am I the only one still curious what exactly the bishops wife is going to testify to? I figure, there are rules about confidentiality between a bishop and their flock so perhaps that's why we have the wife instead? I'm thinking she's going to testify that they counseled DR and TA about the premarital sex(blowing up the dts he's a virgin card) the *advertiser censored* on the computer part, and perhaps missys behavior at fhe ect

That's one thing that bugged me too. How she felt compelled to tell his siblings in the letter that the reason she had no gas receipts for Arizona is because the ninjas took them. Ya, and left you with all the California and Utah ones. She's not as smart as she thinks she is.

I would go beyond that and call it mindbendingly stupid. :facepalm:

JA's been trying to look "frumpy," with those out-of-date sweaters, clothes, glasses, hairstyle, etc., and she does look "old" ...

Remember, Casey Anthony's DT used that same tactic in her case -- they gave Casey the "librarian look" ... and we know how that ended up :gaah:

Then yesterday, she wore a shirt with NO sleeves revealing bare arms -- and -- her bra was showing. That shirt was totally inappropriate for Court !

I've been reading a variety of different sites on the web, and the comments on the social media sites, etc., regarding JA's "looks" overwhelming state that she has "aged" a lot while in :jail: And no doubt, her mit specialist, supporters, etc. read those comments and report back to the Master Manipulator ! And no way does JA want to look OLD, etc. So I think she told her DT "f-u -- I'm going to dress like I want to."

Well ... we'll see HOW she comes dressed to court next week !

Geff / ALV / Dr F are like three peas in a pod, but he might be slightly less far down the rabbit hole. ALV and Dr F are in permanent, round the clock "it's the guy's fault" mode, so their reaction is 100% predictable. I wonder if Geff had seen that letter before yesterday. If not, I wonder what he thought about it afterward regardless of how he tried to be defensive yesterday.

If that was his first time to see it, do you think any light bulbs went off afterward that he's trying to get a psycho off or is he purely a hired gun who doesn't care what the truth is - he'll follow the script for whoever is paying the bill. Maybe we'll get an idea on Monday, but I had to wonder whether the defense let him get caught completely off-guard yesterday since they've done that with other witnesses before.

I am on the fence as to whether she will testify. What she wore in court yesterday was an odd choice. Makes me think she is flirting with a juror. However, I do think her number is up, and being who she is, she will have to get up there and act out.
This would be her grand finale. We shall see.

I don't think she'll get back on the stand. I think her lawyers and her mother are advising against it and I think she is afraid of JM. Hope I'm wrong. I want to see her sacked and pillaged.
