I honestly believe that he thought Jodi had left and he was rid of her and she sneaked back in to kill him.

I have believed this since day 1. Travis didn't pose for those pictures, no way. He thought she was long gone.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year to everyone at WS. May you and your families have a safe and peaceful holiday. Hugs and prayers to those in need at this time of the year. Breaks my heart to hear of loss and hurt, especially this time of year.

I'll be checking back to see if the super secret transcript is released. I know, wishful thinking, but one can never lose hope.

Thanks for all the tweets and posts! You guys are invaluable to those who can't be here during the day, or wish to take a break. It's so appreciated!

Hugs to you and yours. ~Angelwings

This whole week the pictures from court were yellow. I sometimes see that on the web and think it might be cell phone pictures. Maybe the camera person needs to adjust their lighting?

JSS looked just awful, Jodi & Jenn awful, awful. Juan maintained a nice tan though but not the same. Geff, colorful.. Didn't see much of Nurmi though.

I hope the person taling the pictures isn't a professional photographer then.

RE: How much money JA had - ever.

There were times during the main trial when the thought of "where was JA getting the money to do all this traveling, etc. on what a waitress makes?" crossed my mind. But I kind of just let it go.

Now, what with claims that she was "giving" or "lending" him amounts as high as $699 coming up, one has to look at this more closely. Where WAS JA coming up with the money?

At this point, LE has certainly had a good look at all of her financial records prior to the murder. They would also have examined all of TA's financial records. So we can assume it is known when any dollar amount went into or came out of either of their accounts. If a check was written but never cashed, that would be known.

Back to Jodi and her earning power. As far as what is known, she never worked as anything other than a waitress, right?
According to Darryl Brewer she was still working as a waitress when she started into the PPL sales after meeting TA. Did we ever hear that she had any success in selling the Prepaid Legal Services? These sales would be all commission, correct?

How much is it possible for a waitress - even a very, very good waitress - to make? One of her non-admiring co-workers described on a Nancy Grace show that JA was so obsessed with TA that she would work her shift and then drive 5 hours to go see him. (Or spy on him) Just the gasoline purchases alone for these trips had to be hefty.

JA had enough money to move from California. She had enough money to rent a residence. Did she get a job when she moved to Arizona? What job? She had enough money to "give" or "lend" money to "help Travis" after his tires were slashed?

Could she have been running up credit cards and only making the minimum payments? Could she have been secretly working for an escort service?

Something does not add up here.

Possibly she was a web streamer????

Geff says #JodiArias is a sex object. He says JA loves cuddles!!!!

BBM

How could he possibly know that?

Some abuser Travis is! The 'victim' is begging the 'abuser' to come see her!

Maybe she was going to end his life on her home turf. I just wonder where she was planning on him staying... surely not in that disgusting little room she slept in.

Does anyone here still believe beyond a shadow of a doubt that Judge Stephens will pronounce LWOP on this killer? I think we will have a hung jury or mistrial and judge will take it from there but given how she gives in to the DT at every turn these days (I agree she was not always giving in but seems to be since retrial began) is it unreasonable to think the killer and her team will cry on the judge's shoulder and she will cave?

Judge is defying the CoA ruling and opinion, for crying out loud. I think she is getting too comfortable with not doing the right thing.

I don't even care about the DP anymore. I am just hanging on to hope she does not get her conviction overturned by this nutty judge.

That was the 24th correct. She wouldn't tell him why. He seemed suspicious and she was teasing about de stressing him. Yea. It is a possibility she had something nefarious planned to happen. Never new about the stun gun. Interesting she mentioned that.

She seems to have done quite a bit of that with at least the last few of her "men". Magic panties for Abe, "I wish you were here. If you were here, my grandparents are asleep (INAUDIBLE) in my bedroom and we`d shut and lock the door and we would just have a big (EXPLETIVE DELETED). We`d go at it all night." for TA, then the old "hottie biscotti" for RB.

This gives me that creepy deja vu feeling:

Burns testified he first met Arias at a PrePaid Legal convention in Oklahoma in April 2008. Alexander was also at the convention, he said.

Burns acknowledged that he knew who Alexander was, but did not know him personally. "[Jodi and I] spoke at the event. talked to her a little bit [and we] got to know each other a little bit and I asked for her number," Burns said.

A few weeks after that initial meeting, Burns and Arias began chatting on the phone three to five times a week. Toward the end of May, he and Arias made plans for her to visit him at his home in West Jordan, Utah, he testified.

Then there was this, that just goes to show that TA never did anything JA didn't willingly participate in, even the so-called pedo fantasies, so what does that say about her?

"It was a consensual, mutual relationship sexually speaking, wasn’t it?" he said.

"Yes, always," replied Arias.

I just read something interesting. Today it was said that JA offered Travis her stun gun to catch the tire slasher on
December 9th. The police report for the slashing is dated February 11th leading me to believe even more firmly that these journals are altered. Who gave her the journals to mess with? I have a guess.

Anyone know why JA looks like she got punched in the face?

She is literally yellow.

I am assuming everyone has seen the pictures as I am too lazy copy/paste.....

:seeya: Hi RL !

Yes, I noticed the yellow on her face -- especially her cheeks.

I thought at first it was my old laptop, but when I re-looked at the photos on my newer computer, saw the same thing.

It looks like "yellow blush" ... and the rest of her face really looks bad and haggard ... Also saw a couple places where it looked like she had some "lumps."

The most recent photos can be found at AZ Central on the Trial Twitter feed.

It's now 8:13pm in arizona. The night time cleaning crew just entered the dark court room and found DR Geffner in there, ALL ALONE, on the stand. He's reading her texts and diary entries for June 1st. If we check back on the 29th, he will probably be reading june 2nd.

Since it's a DP case I think she has to bend over backwards for the defense to ensure it isn't overturned on appeal. I've never watched a DP case before so I don't know how different this is.

Frigga,
I tried to reply to your message aabove but WS gave me a message that your inbox is full and there is no more storage space for you. :(
if you clean it out, I can resend it. Thank you for your kind words to me.

Happy Holidays everyone! I hope the Alexanders and Travis loved ones are able to find some comfort and levity during this break. I hope everyone here is able to be with friends and loved ones and that each and everyone of us can thank our lucky stars that we are on the outside looking in (to varying degrees) on this situation.

I pray for strength and peace for each and every Websleuther who has lost a loved one to violence, suicide, homicide, drug abuse or trauma, and hope that healing over time is allowed to occur.

I pray for anyone who is sick or ailing or caring for a loved one who is sick or ailing.

I am thankful and grateful to be among such an amazing group of people with sharp minds and huge hearts with the ability to always find some humor!

Best Regards and I will see you in the New Year (if not sooner)~ Frigga

<3 to you

Yup, still extremely confident judge will give her LWOP. IMO, LWP isn not even in the cards. It's either DP or LWOP. This judge will never give her a chance of release. Even JSS called Jodi manipulative. I can't wait for her sentencing words for Jodi to finally put to rest this ridiculous notion that judge Stephens is on her side.

Why would the judge overturn her conviction?

Am I missing something?

I have been spooked by the Phylicia Barnes case. Her killer was found GUILTY but then right before sentencing, his defense atty filed a motion to overturn the conviction because of prosecutorial misconduct, over not revealing some info about a witness to the jury. Anyhow, the retrial is going on right now, so it has be worried.

I say that only because of the many motions set forth by Nurmi, and the accusations of *advertiser censored*, and the looming ones that this judge does not seem to be squashing. If she allows it to be in, then Nurmi can say she did not get a fair trial at the start. I may be wrong, in this fear, but my Dad was a defense attorney and he did get a few convictions overturned before sentencing.
