REVISIT Possible Reasons Purse/Work Bag in the Car

In one of the early video's LE or the FBI while questioning CA bring up the ID tag. Cindy explains that KC told her they often switch tags at work as a joke to see if anyone notices (or something to that effect). It has been a long time since I have heard those tapes.

The picture on page one was taken by LE because it was the work bag or purse in the Pontiac on the front seat.

I'm getting all mixed up now. I thought the shamrock lanyard had Casey's supposed ID badge on it but it wasn't really Casey's badge. And that's when Cindy started explaining about how they would switch IDs.

Am I wrong? Is this "Chris" thing hanging out of the purse what Cindy was talking about? If the ID on the shamrock lanyard wasn't Casey's then who did that ID belong to? Was that one Chris' too?

Please help me because I'm confusing myself even more, the more I type!!

I'm a bartender at a club (topless). I have been there for seven years and have worked with THOUSANDS of girls.

I have never seen a bag like that brought into the club I work at. 99.9% of the girls carry medium to large suitcases. The ones that have wheels. Their make-up bags are bigger than the bag pictured. They bring A LOT of stuff.

I don't know about the clubs in Orlando, but I have heard the city of Orlando is really strict. Where I live it is really strict also. Everyone, owners, managers, bounces, DJ's, bartenders, waitresses, shooter girls, and dancers, EVERYONE has to have an adult entertainment license to even work there.

What that means is that every year, or when you start, you have to go down to the Police Department and apply for a license. You have to give them all of your personal information, get your picture taken and pay fifty dollars. There's a three day grace period for new girls (you can only get your license two days out of the week). I don't know the guidelines but they can deny your license. You have to have a drivers license (or ID) issued in the United States. They don't even take passports. Tampa, Florida is very similar in laws to where I live. Except they have fully nude clubs.

Now, I'm not saying that Casey didn't work at a club especially since I don't know if they have the same regulations as the ones here... but, if they do, there would be record of it. I don't know if she could get away with using a fake ID? I've seen A LOT of fake ID's and they aren't that good. I know clubs in Miami have been busted for underage girls using fake ID's... but, that's MIAMI.

I'm going to be in Orlando Tues-Thurs... maybe I'll stop at one of the clubs and ask some questions.

But, that's definately not a "work bag" for a strip club. I have NO IDEA about escorting? That's a whole different ball game.

The main thing about escorting is it's "higher class" than just a 'ho... a street walker. You are expected to dress nice- very nice. I spent tons of time at Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun (casino's), top of the line hotels, dinner parties etc. A bag that looks like that just wouldn't cut it. Your supposed to look sexy, appealing.. dude's paying you (well, the agency) close to $300 dollars to spend and hour with him he doesn't want you showing up with a duffle bag with "Universal Studios" written on it tossed over your shoulder, doesn't really match with the heels and thigh high's ya know?

Yeah, I don't think there was one with Casey's name, just Chris.

Here's my take, for what it's worth:)

There was a bag in the front seat of the Pontiac. Inside was an envelope which held AH's resumes. Also inside the bag was the shamrock lanyard which had Casey's Universal/Kodak ID from when w a y back in the day when she actually did work there. It seems that there was also a Universal name tag for "Chris" in or on the bag, which may or may not have been attached to a separate, more plain lanyard or may or may not have been attached to a little attached lanyard/loopy-thingy inside the bag, possibly within an pocket in the lining of the bag.

From what I remember, Caylee's things were kept in her little Dora backpack, so it wasn't a diaper bag I reckon.

It seems that CA sorta told LE that Casey's driver's license was in the bag, but since she doesn't actually seem to listen to questions before answering them in whatever way she dang well sees fit, it's hard to say if she was being deliberately misleading or if Casey's license really was in there, or who knows w h a t ?

Pure insanity, these people...if there was a work bag, there must have been work...I'm still gonna call it a work bag even though I know there was no work...it's basically the equivalent of my preschool students when they shove a wad of pretend money into a purse along with a "cell phone," (you'd be amazed what they can come up with to pretend items are actually cell phones...and weapons), yank up their baby doll, and declare they're off to "work." *Sigh*

Jolynna, you need to brush up on your Anthonyesque logic, LOL! That is...

If there's a work bag, there must be work!
...besides, CA seems to have a knack for "glorifying" everything! It's all about appearances.

Here's what I've found so far in the interviews regarding the bag.

GA's FBI interview PG 69

GA: I took a quick glance inside before I even opened it up. See if there was anything there I could see. I could see my granddaughter's car seat in the back in the passenger side rear. I could see my daughter's purse, clothes and it was disarray.
SB: Purse you mean like her regular purse?
GA: Regular purse.
SB: Was her drivers' license and stuff in there, do you recall?
GA: Yes
SB: So, where ever she was she was without any I.D. or...
GA: There was no... yeah she didn't have this kind of stuff.
(skip)
SB: .. for two weeks she'd been out and about with no I.D., no nothing?
GA: Right.
SB: As far as you knew?
GA: Yes.
-------------------
CA interview dated 04AUG08 Gotta love how she started out her interview by saying, "No one's doing a fing thing!"

PG 22
CA: I don't know anybody. I have no idea, I'm not, I don't wanna speculate on something I don't know but that's our thought was. And then um when I got off work I was home by, between 5:30 and 6, is when I found, I didin't go through the car (HUH?), I found um, the, Amy's number in the front under casey's purse, so I called her first, never met Amy before that. Had heard about her but never met her.

(skip)

PG 29
EE: Now, now you said that, said she had two purses kind of, she had one...
CA: She had...
EE: ...one in the car.
CA: She had, well there was a, her work bag was in the white car on the front seat. And then she had a pair of pants in the back seat and her boots and a pair of shoes back there

(skip)

PG49
CA: There was no other clothes. And everything else I gave to the, there's one thing that was missing though that I know was in the bag and I made mention of that.
EE: Go ahead.
CA: To either Yuri or John not too long ago. Casey had...
EE: This is the clothing bag?
CA: This was in her work bag, the bag, there was no clothing bag, was her work bag that had Amy's resumes in there cause it had an envelope with Amy's resumes. Casey had a lanyard that had Universal Studios ID, it was her original one from when she worked at Kodak.
EE: I think I saw that the other day.
CA: The, there was a shamrock with white beads on it, it was a big one. That was not there the, the next day. It was there that night; it was not there the next day. Casey was never left alone to go get that because Lee and I walked her into her bedroom when we came home that night, walked her right past everything. She didn't even know what, what we, I had taken out of the car cause I had it over by the washer and dryer and I also have a um, ice chest there. We had it sitting off to the side. And from the point when I called 911 she was never left alone by a deputy so she couldn't have taken it out. Lee didn't take it, I didn't take it. It turned up missing by the time they get, people came back to get, take the car and the stuff that was in it. Because I left it in her bag and when I went back to the bag when we were going through stuff to write it down on the, the sheet, I wasn't there. So somebody took it that, that um, Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning and I don't know why they would have it but it wasn't there.

(Note: After all that finger pointing, the ID ended up being in CA's dresser drawer)
Funny how Cindy herself doesn't believe Casey was alone at any point with the car.

Wait a minute......George claimed that Casey's ID and wallet was in her work bag? Then what the heck was in the purse that Lee brought back to the Anthony house after he was at Tony's? If I recall correctly all 3 (George, Cindy and Lee) said that Casey's purse was then dumped out and Cindy went through her wallet and pocketed the $ found in the wallet. So is this another lie that George was caught telling?

Casey was not only in the garage with Lee that first night but she was also alone in the garage by herself for who knows how long before Lee went out there with her. I'm sure Cindy knew about this but it doesn't surprise me that she will lie about seeing how she wants to blame LE for a conspiracy against Casey.

This has always puzzled me. Where is the shamrock and who took it and why? Cindy says "Casey was never left alone to go get that etc" but we know that Casey and Lee were in the garage alone that night.
Cindy sure as heck made the point of saying that Casey was never left alone...except for the time when Cindy was phoning the police (and Lee was supposedly getting the "truth" out of Casey in the bedroom). Someone's not telling the truth. Cindy went to an awful lot of trouble to disassociate Casey from taking anything out of the bag...but something was obviously missing...she pretty much insinuated that it had to be the police who took/stole/misplaced the item. Again she offers up way too much info...a lot like Casey when she's lying.

Ok...now refresh my memory...who said Casey was alone in the garage?

ETA: now I remember why in the beginning we discussed just how much (?) the As knew prior to LE being called to the house.

During one of Lee's interviews he stated that Casey was in the garage alone, the police were in the house at the time interviewing Cindy and George (I believe). He looked around for Casey and couldn't find her. I believe that he even asked someone where she was and they told him in the garage. I will go and look to see if I can find that interview.

Ok...so let's see...we have three family members telling three different stories. Gee, why doesn't that surprise me? IMHO...and it's been discussed/debated endlessly...something is very much "up" with all this storytelling.

ETA: don't bother looking...I thought it was Lee.

FWIW...IMHO, this is the 'work bag' Cindy took out of the car that she also called a 'purse', but, used chiefly as a "work bag".

Thanks for the pic...I thought "Chris" could have been like "Prada"...the name of the bag. LOL

ETA: BJB...did you ever post your "news"? Sorry, OT.

Lee Interview July 29, 2008

pages 47 and 48

LA: Casey had uhm, uh, uh, advised me on the 15th while I was waiting to fill out my statement before I could go to Tony's house to pick up Casey's stuff. Uhm, I was in the garage because they had seperated my folks from my sister. I sat in the garage with my sister.

EE: With the car right there?

LA: With the car right there. And it was atrocious.

EE: Uh-hum

LA: Uhm, and I couldn't be in there any more for a minute or two and I had to keep going back inside because the smell was so bad.

I am thinking that he talks more about it and in more detail in another interview too. However, it is late and I can't take anymore of his childish laughter and uhms.

You're a peach...so...any idea who's telling the truth? I'm no longer worried about the car being sealed off. Though it could possibly raise issues, it would be fun to watch the SA question Lee and his mom about which story was the "truth". The George and the purse story...now that generates a whole lot of questions. Has there ever been an inventory of what was in the wallet when LE took possession of it? IIRC Cindy referenced some cc (s) of hers. I know I've seen a pic of Casey's license in the docs...but can't remember seeing anything else. Gonna go and take a look

Thank you Mr. Bond for the laugh.

Every time I see that name badge I laugh out loud. Every time. Casey told mom and pop that the reason she had someone else's is because it was a little game the staff played on security always trading name badges. The funny part is not the story that she made up. Stories at short notice is her specialty. It is funny to me that they would tell it , with a straight face to LE and not be embarrassed.
You just can't make this stuff up.

The most telling thing about this is that all of them are in agreement about one thing...the smell in that car and garage. The fact that Lee found her in there and he and she talked in there (for the spurts of time Lee could breathe) is all we need to know. Casey could have went
and took a seat at the kitchen table
stayed in her bedrroom
went to the computer room
went to her parent's room
sat on the back porch
there were lots of options to remain separated from her folks for questioning.
The officers did not put her in the garage.
Out of all the possibilities ....Casey chose and Lee followed her to that reeking garage. Of course she was up to something nefarious.

Great observation, TWA! That part of Lee's interview really bothers me. He describes how bad the smell is. He has to keep leaving the area for fresh air. Casey doesn't apparently.
I pictured her acting like the smell didn't exist.
She wasn't hanging out out there because the smell didn't bother her. It wasn't Lee was more sensitive to the odor. She had a purpose for being there. He just isn't telling us everything.

Would you lock a skunk in your garage? No. So why put the car that smells of death in the garage when common sense tells you the smell will eventually drift into the rest of the house. I find that odd. If I was in the garage I'd have to open the garage door so I could breathe - I think most people would do the same. I don't get it.

Next riddle - this is one huge riddle - right?

Could Chris be a girl? I wonder if Chris ever reported her name tag being missing - and ordering a new one - or his/her purse/bag being missing.

On the purse/bag issue. I find the terminology a regional thing. I'm a Brit and here in DFW my handbag is my purse and my purse is my billfold or wallet. Cindy is not originally from Florida so she may use the terminology she grew up with but lapse into the term used in Florida.

Errrrr, I'll go get more coffee as I feel I've rambled. Sorry.

haha Sadly I have no clue what an event coordinator would put in a work bag. I only know dysfunction, my dear ;)

I can tell you what would be in that bag

Your business cards (which by the way no one had of hers....an event coordinator would be giving those to each and every person she meets)
A daytimer /calander
A calculator
Files
Snacks
Water Bottle
Sunglasses
A camera
Second cell phone
and Asprin

and not in that order.

Is this where George found the resume of Casey's that had her recent employment listed as a nanny?

I think Lee was telling the truth (but not the entire truth) because CA was so adamant that KC was not in the garage. Who knows what he caught his sister doing in that stank garage.

Also, I find it strange that they lie about the smallest things (but I do think they lie with purpose). After reading through all this nonsense yesterday, I noticed that GA said it took about 3 days for the smell to get out of their house, but in CA's SA depo she said the smell never infiltrated their house. Which I find hard to believe because that car was left open with the garage door shut. Why lie about that?
Why was it left in the garage? They didn't want the neighbors to smell it. It wasn't until after the police arrived that they moved it to the street.. I think that next morning on the 16th (which I think Brittany S saw outside later on)

Also, why is it impossible for the A's to answer what exactly was in that bag? We already know CA went through that car, which she denied in one interview but admitted in another.
Sorry my post is everywhere, but that's what the A's do to my mind... they make it jump from place to place.
