Yup, the 'ol sympathy routine, feel sorry for me ploy......figures!

People need to understand that money should be going for helping find Haleigh, is TN nuts? She should be saying things like, "he has some funds to pay for a Private Investigator" or add to the reward for info. IMO, RC doesnt want anyone closer to finding out whats really behind this mess. Pleading for her return isnt working, youd think by now they would see that and bring in some professionals.

Ya, know if she really wanted to "spin" this to work in his favor, she should say things like, "he's going to counseling" or "he is working with investigators, going over leads and such".

Im sorry, I dont feel sorry for him. He's milkin' this thing for all its worth!

I decided that since I didn't think Crystal had anything to do with Haleigh's disappearance, I wasn't going to have an opinion about her - because it didn't matter. Not if I don't believe she is involved.
BUT the more things start to happen, the more I think Ron knows something, did something, ect. You don't buy a house when your child is missing (and has only been missing for a few weeks). Anytime I've ever heard of a child missing, I've seen parents crying on the media (even just the local news - Morgan Nick went missing near where I'm from originally and her mother STILL lives in the same house and is STILL searching for Morgan - even though it's been 12-13 years or something like that. She set up a 'Morgan Nick' center in her house, to help find other missing children), pleading for their childs safe return. He does that for, what? Two weeks and is over it now? Ron, to me, isn't acting right. Thats Just My Opinion Only...

I look at it as just another media statement...

The thing that I find most hopeful in that article is the fact that FDLE is still actively participating. And I personally believe that if they are taking DNA from so many different people...on both sides of the family...FDLE knows something. THey are not going to just take samples from people just "to have a record of them like fingerprints." THey would take them, however, to compare to DNA that they have recovered. JMO

I can understand that he has to find a home for JR. BUT...for the life of me I cannot understand how he now has enough money to BUY a house. People who know they'll test "dirty" will often use "clean" urine from another source. It can even be purchased online. Freeze dried urine. Yep.

My ex had a friend on parole. One of his conditions was drug testing. He had his son pee in a cup. He then put it in a nose spray bottle that he had cut the top so it would come out fast enough. He would put it in his underwear to get it to the right temperature. The parole/probation dept. checks the temp to see if someone if cheating.

Moral of the story- drug users will go to GREAT lengths to deny drug use, and cover up drug use.

He went to work and he supported his family without any help from the so called Mom. A Mom that refered to her children as brats, was 4 grand behind in support.....it goes on and on.....

I call my kids 'spoiled rotten', 'silly', 'nuts' - and when I'm talking to people I say they are rotten - and then add that they are good kids (because they are and I love my children more than anything in this world) - so just because she referred to her kids as 'brats' doesn't mean she didn't love them or care about them. And just because she hasn't paid child support doesn't mean she doesn't love them either.

I'm not the one with the double standard. I, personally, don't like some of the things Crystal has done (GR interviews, BOTH of them) but I'm not sitting here, upset because some people have difference opinions about Ron than anybody else. You don't know if Ron had anything to do with HALEIGH's disappearance (Haleigh, you know her - the whole reason we are all on here, not because of Ron or Crystal or even Junior). I don't know either. BUT I'm not completely closed off to the chance that he might be. AND he MIGHT be. I didn't think Ron had anything to do with Haleigh's disappearance for a LONG time - but my opinions are changing because of Ron, himself. The way he's acting.

People have every opportunity to sleuth out things on Crystal as well. If I felt so strongly that she was involved that's what I would be doing.

Well, not really Pinky. Many people here have the ability to separate facts from emotion. I prefer to take each case separately and see both sides. On a personal level, I have a huge family...many with dysfunctions such as whats being handed to us here in this case. And I will tell you what, I have blood related people I know that are just as low down and dirty. I'd throw my relative under the bus anyday to find out where their child was. Actually I have a missing Niece.....she's probably in Jail again for prostitution or drugs in Vegas..or even dead!...she's an adult now, her choices......however, I can tell you her environment, her father, my half brother are directly responsible for her getting to this point to start with......Where is her mother?....in Hawaii, and she never was allowed to have nothing to do with her when she was a child. My brother was a mean, manupulative SOB. So my neices mother went on with her life because she couldnt deal with him or his abuse, he wouldnt let her take my niece when she was a toddler. And thats only one of my half-*advertiser censored* relatives.

For the record, I look at crystals past and think, wow.....she could of done somthing different. But now, she's there for Haliegh.......she isnt dodging questions and frankly, I'd prefer at this moment in time to give her a chance, maby this is her chance to do the right things by her children. If my past was held against me, I wouldnt have the life I have now. But for the Grace of God go I!

I too think there is more to the Misty story. I'm not at all sure it is fair to beat up on Ron becasue Mistys relative may have done something. To me thats a strech. As much as we like to think we can control other people we just can't.

Then bring those examples in here and show why you think she could be involved. That's what has been done with Ron's stuff. All I hear is that we are being unfair to Ron, but no one wants to use examples of why they think it's not him.

I go with the lesser of the two evils myself personally. Ron has the ability to make a change.....he hasnt thus far. For the past several days, its been about leaving him & Misty alone, so they can resume the honeymoon phase.
