The story I read about the witness said he only heard the gunshots, and then vaguely stated they then fed her to the alligators. I have always thought that he may have been telling what he actually saw with his own eyes up until the gunshot. After that the language in his story changes to something that sounds like 3rd hand information or a rumor, rather than an event he actually witnessed.

The inmate, Taquan Brown of Walterboro, told investigators that he went to a "stash house" near McClellanville days after Drexel went missing and that he witnessed Timothy Da'shaun Taylor, then 16, "sexually abusing" the teen, according to a court transcript of a statement by FBI agent Gerrick Munoz.

Taylor saw others in the room with the girl and Da’Shaun Taylor, and he kept walking through the house to the backyard to give some money to Da’Shaun Taylor’s father, Shaun Taylor, according to the transcript. While they talked, Drexel ran from the house, was caught, “pistol-whipped” and taken back inside.

Two shots rang out and the inmate assumed Shaun Taylor shot the girl, according to the transcript. Then the girl’s body was wrapped up and taken away.

Asked what happened to the girl’s body, the FBI agent testified that it has not been found but that “several witnesses have told us Miss Drexel’s body was placed in a pit, or gator pit, to have her body disposed of. Eaten by the gators.”

Information on why authorities believe the scene in Georgetown is connected to the case was not available on Friday.

Justice for Brittanee!

You've never been forgotten beautiful girl. So many of us out here hold you in our hearts! :heartbeat:
Prayers of strength and comfort out to the family.

JMO

i just hope they find SOMETHING...anything to help put these monsters away :praying:

I pray Brittanee is found, taken home for a proper burial and the worthless waste of space are finally brought to justice and put
under the prison, right where they belong.

Good thing South Carolina still has the death penalty which is what the prosecutors in the case should aim for.

One neighbor said he is the only person who lives on the property behind the crime scene tape and that officials were not searching his property specifically. Together, we will work to bring you the latest updates.

I take it this is 33 Diamond the person is taking about above.

When I was looking at the maps last night and remembering building forts and digging in the woods as a kid; it so hard to do because of tree roots. I thinks these creeps would use any clearing area available in that area. I hope the dogs hit on something. God knows how many people could be buried in that area. If they find her here, whomever gave that tip hopefully knows and has given all the names.

It would be so wonderful for her family to find her here and be able to bring her home.:happydance:

I visited Francis Marion National Park and Hampton Plantation a little over a year after she was abducted. Just as eerie, almost too quiet place. Then when I researched murders along the coast which involved bodies left in and around the park, along the Santee, etc., it made sense. I can see why bad people would commit crimes there, plenty of places to hide.

Praying so hard for this family...it's been way too long!

But isn't this search on private property? I thought you kinda need a warrant for that.

The only thing I can think of is the property owner Ok'd it without a warrant needed. Initials reports were stating LE had a warrant.

Based on where they are searching this seems to bring more truth to the raymond moody/sunset lodge theory. Rather than the deshaun taylor story imo.

"The area in which the search is being conducted is more than 45 miles north of where FBI agents previously said
Drexel's body may have been dumped in McClellanville."
