Has anyone here ever shot a shotgun? Did you use both arms? Your shoulder?

Did you shoot from the hip?

If you shot twice in rapid fire succession, was your shoulder bruised? Sore?

What about 5 rounds in rapid succession from an AR-15?

Yes, I have fired a shotgun. 12 Guage. Auto, Pump, Single shot and a nifty homemade sawed off thing that you held with one hand. Normally you use both hands when firing a shotgun. You have to hold it tight or you will lose control and it will recoil and the gun will hit you in the head. There are plenty of hilarious videos on you tube on this.
If you do not want to bet bruised or sore when firing a shotgun, then you must hold it firmly against your shoulder. The recoil effect is much more if you hold it lightly on your shoulder or just away from it. Newtonian Physics.
The AR-15 does recoil but it is insignificant relative to a 12 guage shotgun.
An AR 15 is very controllable.

The jury is coming back in. Judge Newman tells them we are done for the day, but when they return tomorrow morning, they will be escorted to Moselle.

Newman: While you are on the way to the scene and from the scene, you are not allowed to discuss the case with anyone, including fellow jurors. While there, you can’t ask anyone any questions, including law enforcement. If you have any questions, you can only ask me.

Newman: After seeing Moselle, we will have closing arguments. Then I will instruct you as to the law you are to apply, and then you will begin deliberations.

Newman: “It has been a year and a half or more since June 7, 2021, since the alleged crime occurred. Things have most likely changed. We’re in a different season of the year.” You will have to keep that in mind as you consider what you see.

Jury is dismissed for the day.

He’s shown bias, he’s been disrespectful in the courtroom, he was ordered to go to the back, he didn’t see any problem with letting PM use his identification to purchase alcohol and he’s a law student flunk. That’s just what we know. Better for him to stay away from lawsuits.

Wow, the Judge is accompanying the jurors. They are not allowed to discuss the case with anyone or while there ask any questions of anyone who may be there, LE or Court Officials. Any questions, only ask me, the Judge. The jury will return to Court for closing arguments.

Essential to understand that the jurors are be taken only to view the scene. The scene has changes over time, seasons, etc. Take that into consideration.

Do we think they thru closing arguments tomorrow? I don't. At best I think the jury gets the case on Thursday evening and they begin deliberations Fri Morning. Don't expect a verdict until Tues/Wed. Hope I'm wrong.
