All is well here too, except now my OTHER hip is going out of joint... and it hurts to walk!! Shoot, I'm still recuperating from my right hip! I don't know how long I have to wait for another hip operation?? Guess I'll have to call up my Doctor!

It's going to be sweltering hot :tantrum: here for the next 4 days... I hate HOT!

Since the last storm we had, the weather has been so cool and delightful here- 49 degrees at night and about 82 during the day and no humidity! I actually had to grab an extra blanket for my bed- I was cold last night (but I'm not complaining- I don't want to anger the gods :notgood::secret:..).:floorlaugh:

(I predict a very cold Winter here in Upstate NY :coldout::snowflake::snowman: )

Hi YorN, we are having a cool summer also. I wish it would stay about 80 for the remainder. I'm
almost afraid to think of winter. Last year was abnormally cold. I hate that. Such a scary feeling as we dont know what is coming. The rain is skirting around us also. had some but nothing heavy where I live. So we hope for the best..

About the Andrea Doria I'm pretty sure Rita Marino ( Happily Divorced) and her daughter (Bennie in George Lopez) were on that ship. Sailed out of Italy I believe. R.M. was a beautiful woman in her youth. Still nice looking.

Hi ILike, I haven't been to a movie in years! I never saw Midnight Cowboy but heard
it was good. Oh I could go but I just dont care to. Amy took out "Heaven is for Real". I
will watch it at home. I have been following the plane crash so haven't been in here much.
This whole thing is very scary. I am so sorry for the people. I am so glad Niner didn't
move over there. I would worry. I lost one of my BBF. . went to the funeral home and just cried.

re bold - yes, I believe that IS the problem I'm having - one leg is shorter and I walk with a limp with my slippers... So I've been keeping my shoes on with the "lift" in it. It helps! My slippers don't have a back to them, so I'll have to go out and find some slippers that have a back, so I can put the "lift" in them!

BIG fire going on, but we aren't getting any smoke here - thank goodness!!

We've been getting the monsoon rains/weather here, so have a LOT of humidity!! Yuck! It's going to be 98 here today.... UGH!

We had such a storm this AM- I thought the lightning would hit the house. :scared:

It's nice now- partly cloudy skies, but no rain and still pretty cool at 86 degrees.
