:floorlaugh: I'm so wiped and partied out today. :floorlaugh:

Please forgive me!

I wish they did brain scans. That would be interesting.

Uh... her? Ms. Arias? Her head? :floorlaugh:

I'd hate to say this but this is only :twocents:.

I do believe ALV when she said Jodi has a low self-esteem. However, the issue I have with that is Jodi is 2-sided.

On one side, she seems low on herself and makes bad decisions.

And on the flipside, she is narcissist and a pathological liar.

Jodi has strong desires, but no concept of how to satisfy them .. remember the old ID, EGO, SUPEREGO discussions .. these are out of date now .. but still interesting ..

Ammonitida, you have a good heart. Sorry if I sounded flip. I just don't believe Jodi can be sorry or remorseful. Not at all.

For me, It always comes back to the same thing with JA, her credibility. She had an opportunity for 18 days to say 'I AM SORRY', to show remorse to feel bad for what she had done, whether she felt she was in a situation of snapping, self-defense, whatever, she took a life, and showed no regret. The only thing I ever heard her say is she felt shame b/c she did not want 'her family' to know what SHE was CAPABLE of. Never has she shown concern for TA family.

If she was to pour her heart and soul out on the stand, apologize, and beg for forgiveness, it would still only be for her. She could tell his family how sorry she was for what she has done to them, and I would have to wonder how much of it was sincere, and how much of it was self-preserving.

Cried wolf too many times for me.

Put this in your pot and stir it.

Boycie Boy is a Welsh Cardigan Corgi. Pembrokes are smaller and actually a different breed, but they both come from the British Isles originally. Very old breed.

You said it, ShadyLady. Mama Cass -- what a voice, what a loss.

Speaking of great female voices, how about this?

Hey, what was that movie with Bruce Willis, where he's been tied up and the bad guy asks him if he has any last request -- he says Stairway to Heaven, the long version.

I love this song and just about anything by The Guess Who...

Hey Funkmeister, will we have our late-day infusion of you know who? I ask because I had a sneak preview in our local market just now. Strolling through produce, what should I hear but...... I was transfixed of course!

Til then, here's a ditty by a band I nearly forgot but should have remembered 'cause I had a "close encounter" with one of them:

J. Geils Band - Freeze Frame - YouTube

LOVE J. Geils! Here;s MY "close enocunter" :blushing: (I bet if we had hung out together back in the day, we would have been double trouble :floorlaugh:

:luv: What a handsome guy! I only have cats, but I think once we get out of this condo, we'll get a dog or 2.

You know, Mrs. G., you're soundin' awfully intellectual with all your psycho-terminology and whatnot...it seems so unusual coming from someone who puts her cat in a dress and loves AC/DC...you may well be the perfect woman! :floorlaugh:

Its about fawning time here too....they amaze me with their strength on such spindly little legs...its almost baby fox time too!!! Not many things are cuter than a baby fox....

I just adopted a baby possum! :fence:
Naturally, I had to Google "opossums" and discovered their diet is complicated (not just cat food and milk bones...) Now I go every other day to buy a nice fresh fruit salad @ $3.59 and hope he'll make up for the lack of "amphibians, slugs, insects and reptiles" when he's a little older and on his own.:snake::snail::bee::takeoff::frog:
