Does anyone else have an aversion to seeing pics of Casey Anthony or George Zimmerman? Or CMJA? I can't stand to look at them for some reason.

OMG!!!! Freaking me out!!!! I was listening to his respiratory rate to see if it increased. Nope. He must be young. LOL as I am still freaking with a respiratory rate of 100.

I don't understand why some posters are just plain mean and snarky. Isn't there enough nastiness in the world? Couldn't this just be one site where it didn't exist?

Yikes! That sounds horrible! You did not get hurt from that, did you? Things like this probably never leave your mind --- get you can still recall how it felt. Ours was a tiny blip compared to that.

Please send good thought and prayers my way...close family member is in a bad way.

Prayers coming, coffee. I am so sorry to hear this.

Oh CJ, I am so sorry prayers going out. PLease keep us informed.. you take care ((hugs))..:blowkiss:

It's sixty eight degrees in May in Texas. All this rain reminds me of 2007. It rained every day. Sometimes several times an day. We had terrible fleas and mosquitos. You couldn't spray or put pesticides down.

Zuri, I have the same problem in spending. I always think I could spend it on someone or thing because I really didn't need it. My kitchen has been in a twenty year redo, and the tile counters, big at the time, looked very dated compared to the new granite ones. I'm not sure about painting my cabinets a dark wood or black though. I do like the new dark glass tiles for the backsplash, and it's hard letting go of eighty year old hardwood floors. The one thing I do want is a farm sink. We had one when we moved here thirty two years ago,but replaced it when we had the water lines updated and the new sink had the faucet and knobs buit in it and not on the backsplash above it.

DH was wrong on the river basin our cabin is in. It's the Sabine.

My twin gransons are selling chocolate bars to pay for a day trip to Sky Ranch .......... in Van. I hope it's stil there. Like Neesaki (? my brain has a block today) our lake cabin is about twenty miles east of Van

Oh BendPages, if you have eighty year old hardwood floors, please, please keep them. There is nothing more beautiful or more classic, or more in demand for that matter, than vintage hardwood floors. We spent a fortune on "new, old" vintage pine flooring in our last house. It was actually old wood, but made into flooring. I loved it and now am wishing I had done the same in this house. And those tiled countertops, they are so charming and homey to me. But also as you, granite is just beautiful. It is hard to beat a natural stone .

And my son went to Sky Ranch years ago. It's a great place. He also went to Pine Cove, another great Christian camp. You say you're cabin is 20 miles east of Van ? You are probably north of me if you have a lake cabin. I am actually Southeast of Van. Still, it is a small world, isn't it ? And Van is still there, as I was just there today. But it is entirely blocked off by law enforcement, I had to drive around for over an hour to get where I wanted to get. Then was told they didn't need any more volunteers, HaHa. Geez, can't even get anyone to let me work for free, LOL. Oh, I haven't heard anything about Sky Ranch being affected by the tornadoes, hopefully I'm right. :seeya:

Who, who ? What's going on? I hope it wasn't me....

Prayers to you and yours, CoffeeJunkie. (((Hugs)))

Why Some High-Conflict Personality Women Kill
http://shrink4men.com/2010/11/10/why-some-high-conflict-personality-women-kill/

Last week’s article Theresa Riggi Kills Her Children in Bitter Divorce Battle: Does She Have a Personality Disorder? asks the question what makes the unthinkable thinkable for some high-conflict people (HCPs) and/or some individuals with personality disorders? Why do some cross the line and commit murder, while others are content to perpetrate psychological violence like stalking, harassment, property destruction and parental alienation? How does the kind of woman who kills her children or husband (or gets someone else to do it for her) differ from your HCP wife, girlfriend or ex or your husband’s or boyfriend’s HCP ex?

Most high-conflict people or individuals with personality disorders aren’t violent and/or homicidal. However, I’d be willing to wager that women like Theresa Riggi, Susan Williams, Leisa Jones, Elaine Campione, Teresa Lewis and Clara Harris, for example, meet the criteria for being high-conflict people (HCP) and might also meet the criteria for full-blown personality disorders such as Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD), Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), Histrionic Personality Disorder (HPD), Paranoid Personality Disorder (PPD) or Antisocial Personality Disorder (ASPD). For simplicity’s sake, let’s refer to these individuals as HCPs (high-conflict people) with the caveat that not all HCPs become violent nor do all HCPs have personality disorders.

There is no doubt in my mind that Jodi Arias is a High Conflict Person. She thrives with conflict and gets angry very easily. They always blame others, but themselves as they see themselves as the victim no matter what. They are very vindictive and feel the world is unfair to them as they complain non-stop. That could also be said of Casey Anthony, Betty Broderick, Lori Drew, or Elliot Rodger.

Has our killer inmate been in her forever home for a month now??
