Or maybe the conversation between she and Harris went something like this:

You need to get on birth control, I'm not using condoms.

I'll find out if this medication would prevent me from getting pregnant but just say that we want a baby, because how would that look to our families (that are bugging us for grandchildren) to find out we don't want kids.

Honestly we don't know if Leanna and/or Harris really wanted children or not. At this point we don't know if they were honest in what they put out on the web, in church, to their families and friends or not.

No doctor would give him Androgel without a diagnosis of Low Testosterone with bloodwork to support it.

That's exactly what I wanted to know. Thanks gngr snap!

The first four words of the text are: Get to work okay ?

Ross replied: Hell yeah!!

snip about the movie

Ross wrote: When you getting my buddy?

The first two words of the last text from LH are: Call me.....

:dunno:

Can someone explain as I'm not getting it. Didn't state say they hadn't texted since may, but they present texts that day? Can someone help me understand TIA

And that may be the reason why Harris was taking it. Didn't want a child. I really don't believe that Harris and Leanna tried for a while to get pregnant. Parents that had trouble conceiving would be devastated at their child dying, especially at the hands of one (if not both) of the parents. I believe that is more likely that they were trying to not get pregnant.

Some people think they want children, but when children show up, it's not what they thought it was going to be.

Technically it was an instant message not a "text".

They may not have exchanged texts since May, they were communicating by IM that day.

Do you mean that "certain sexual behaviors" like exchanging *advertiser censored* with a minor are "taboo" in the South? Because I live up North and we don't look too fondly on it either. Sorry if that makes us prudes. :(

I think they're using the "sex angle" against him because it interfered with him caring for his child. If it would have been only work activities that distracted him from his child, he could have argued that "hey, I have to have a job to support my child. I can't be focused on my child all day or I would lose my job and my ability to provide sustenance for my family." Since he spent so much time sexting at work, he cannot use that defense. As far as I know, sending pictures of one's peen and soliciting pictures of breasts does not in any way contribute to one's ability to support a child, unless one is a professional pornographer and getting paid for such activities.

Plus he was involved in an ILLEGAL activity while his son died (providing/receiving *advertiser censored* with a minor). It is not uncommon for parents to be charged with a crime when their child dies while they are engaged in another crime. It doesn't automatically mean the police (and all of us) are prudes. I have sexted before. No one was underage and no one died. :)

Does the 'i' stand for instant or for iphone?

Or...not. I searched for news about the termination and didn't find anything more concrete than this:

So, it's just my guess that HD fired him specifically because of his activities at work.

If I am not mistaken, GA is an at-will state, meaning employers do not need to provide a reason for firing an employee. Also, and I am muddy here, there is some mind of tie-in to the right-to -work laws. Right-to-work states allow non-union members to hold jobs in those unionized fields, but those people cannot claim union rights upon termination. (Am I getting that right?)

Anyhoo.......in GA, nobody owes you an explanation for firing you. And even if one were required, I am sure HD has that covered.

I believe you're correct that Georgia is an at-will state but at-will only applies when there is no contract between employer and employee. Most higher level jobs, like executives and workers with specialized training (RH fits in here with his computer skills) would have employment agreements in place. I'd be surprised if HD didn't have standard contracts for all but the lower-level positions.

Thank you! I really tried to read up but my head was feeling squishy trying to understand. Thanks for the clarification.

So it looks like HD really had a reason beyond just bad publicity to fire ole RH?

it is easy to fire as an "abandonment of a job after 3 days or 4 days for 5 days " not showing up for a job to get fired imho in Georgia .

I hear ya! Most discussion about Georgia Employment Law centers around unions and breaches of contract over non-competes and solicitations after termination. Yawn, like walking through mud - on a rainy day.

Mind you, we don't know for sure that RH had a written contract but it's 99% likely since HD's a Fortune 50* company as opposed to a corner hardware store. I really, really want to know the details, lol!

* Thanks to RH and reddit I can't stop from laughing whenever I hear that phrase.

JMO, I have the same car as RH. I did an experiment...left my DH in the car and locked it. He moved around inside the car and this caused my car alarm to go off. Had Cooper been able to get out of his seat and move around the alarm would go off. JMO

 I had no idea! That's so sad :( Poor Cooper was so tightly restrained, he didn't stand a chance

WOW Can you disable the alarm? Just wondering if he may have....that would be very incriminating evidence. JMO

I don't know. I no longer have the owner's manual. Maybe one could under the hood?
