Reading the all her posts together, rather than just her one post in isolation, I concluded that her comment meant 'I know the person you're saying is the 3rd person' - not so much that she KNEW that he was the 3rd person. I think she was speculating that he MAY have been involved, and confirming that she knew him & felt he was capable of some pretty bad stuff - but not that she had any knowledge that he was involved. Just MOO

At first she did not say much but I just read the entire thread and she does eventually say more. Read the whole thread. She does say she called it in though.

Thom Dungey of Toronto says his client will plead not guilty. No other comment. Being escorted from court by police.

Sorry storme. Think we're talking about different things.

Sorry if this has been posted already.
The wedding was at Bayview Golf and Country Club north of Toronto.

Any thoughts on who the driver of the Yukon is? I think we need to try and figure that out!

Can anyone tell me why the June 13th court appearances are via video? Why not make them physically go to court?

CD deleted (or the Facebook page admin) the entire thread where she implicated AS and was sticking up for her friend MS.

I read it not long ago, but when I returned to the page, it's gone. The one thing I didn't take a screen shot of.....:banghead:

"Lawyer for 2nd Bosma murder suspect: 'I have nothing to say'"

http://www.insidehalton.com/news/ar...nd-bosma-murder-suspect-i-have-nothing-to-say

"Millard's lawyer, Deepak Paradkar, visited his client at the Barton Street jail today after word of the 2nd arrest. He wouldn't discuss what he and Millard talked about, citing solicitor-client privilege. Paradkar said Millard didn't lead Hamilton Police to Smich, as Millard has continued to maintain his "constitutional right" to silence, Paradkar said."

We saw this with the Rafferty case as well. For the first year or more it was all video appearances. I think it saves costs on transportation. Nothing will happen in court noteworthy for a long long time. It will be remanded over and over again until all evidence has been disclosed and lawyers have time to review it.

I highly recommend watching that clip.

The reporter phoned MS mom last week, and she said he didn't live there, I think someone here mentioned that. Very odd. It's not like it was LE calling, it was a reporter. How much did Mom know? This was before the wedding.

Why was a journalist calling a possible witness, and now we know suspect, on a publication ban do not call list for a murder suspect? She could have tipped LE's hand, been harmed herself, or caused MS to flee.

Jmo

Sounds sooooo similar to the journalist who was going to go to Bernardos house for an interview before his arrest!!! That resulted in him being arrested earlier than they planned. These journalists need to keep their nose out of it until LE have done their job!

Maybe the unit is his sister's and she won't be needing since she's now married.

House had a rental apartment in it but I believe it is owned by Mom. An old ad advertizing on behalf of 'my mom' was posted upthread.

I have a question. In a case like this, do DM's lawyer and MS's lawyer know what they other perp is saying or even if they are talking? Would these lawyers be in contact with both players in the game at this point? Or is that something that would really only happen in preparation for a trial? My guess is the answer is no.

At this point, it is up to the clients whether they authorize their lawyers to tell the other lawyer whether they are talking, what they are saying, etc.

Police may claim to one or the other that one is talking as a way of encouraging the other to talk. That claim may or may not be true.

Prior to trial, the Crown must disclose all information it has relevant to the charges. If there are statements made by one or more of the accused, those will be disclosed. Often, interrogations are videotaped, and those videotapes will be disclosed.

It is very early. While it is likely the accused will be tried together, that is not certain. There's a long process, and many decisions to be made, before this case comes to trial.

sorry i'm new here. who are you all referring to when saying "CD"...can I have some help with this..
