Sad. I have a feeling it's Dana.

There is/was another missing woman/teen from Chattanooga as well not too long ago. I don't know if she was found or not, but not too many woman are 4' 11".

Prayers for whoever it is and their family....but atleast they are now found; and prayers for Dana's family as they await an autopsy and ID.

I found her old addy in Chatt and included it on the map. This map I altered a little to show a round trip to the creek and where her car was left by tunnel. Her old neighborhood is very near the tunnel too.

Some of you have seen the news reports that a body has been found today in Chattanooga. There has not been a positive identification yet, and I gave a DNA sample to see if there is a match. It is likely that this is Dana, but we will have to wait for the results to come back. We do not know more thank the news is providing at this time. Thank you all for your prayers and support during this painfully difficult time.

First I remember seeing this, or any indication of violence:

Wilkes was last seen near home on Palo Verde Drive on Nov. 9. Her 2000 green Jeep Cherokee was found near Wilcox Tunnel on Wilcox Road a day later with blood splattered inside of it.

I just get the feeling the family pretty much knows the answers. I don't know what to think about the son's statement per that video. Maybe he was asked not to mention it or this was what was found for them to know she was not alone.

Also, they are IDing by DNA...and not by fingerprints or dentals.

Well, there's my answer to why DNA for IDing. The family must have been told since the son made an ominous post to FB regarding what his mother may have gone through.

Stupid perp not up to date with DNA. It's just a matter of a little time difference in IDing. On that note, I hope LE finds the perps DNA also, plus fingerprints, etc from her body, clothing and the car. Hope she got a good scratch in or hand full of hair whoever this may be.

What a disgrace to mutilate her body like that. What terror and suffering to place on an already grieving family and friends.

Still praying for this victim's loved ones. Let them have answers...and be comforted at this time.

Agree it would just be a matter of time but as you can see it's already taking longer to ID which leads me to question if this was a tactic used to flee the State or Country? In other words, buying time (?)
