I never raised a hand to my mother. It would have been my last time to do so! Her mother needed a bigger spoon! And maybe if she had filed charges Jodi might have learned something....but I doubt it. She had trouble reading, so he sent her a book? She had trouble relaxing in her jail cell?
I'm not a forensic psychologist diagnostic evaluator, but I think there are specific guidelines regarding the necessity of gathering third party information due to the inherent bias of the subject.

Awww. She had a hard time relaxing in her cell so of course its PTSD!

All of the jail programs I have watched ALL of the inmates remark about the noise at night and how difficult it is to sleep.
