I don't think Wilmott is doing too well. The judge seems to be dressing her down at each side bar--at the last one Nurmi had to coach her. And I don't think and the witness have prepared too much. It was telling when she asked whether or not TA had sent JA an additional pair of underwear for Valentines (the ones with the name Travis on the butt) and ALV said "not that I was aware of."

What about that attorney adage, don't ask a question you don't know the answer to?

Katie said she told the woman 'hi' and she never said if the woman said anything back to her.

I think this is ALL about JA's non-too-well-concealed jealousy of KDDJ. This is especially ironic because KDDJ sits on JA's side of the courtroom. If the jury HAS noticed her, they could think she's part of JA's family. :twocents:

I wouldn't put it passed JA and the defense team to have set up tri-color. Possibly by having someone wait outside the courthouse for someone matching her easily identifiable description in order to purposely get her to say something, anything she shouldn't

I do think that this that this tri Tri Color could be aprocted(sp LMAO) unless she wanted too be.

Then why would she have been dismissed? If truly that's what happened, she asked someone if they were in line, come on really? She'd be dismissed for that? I don't think so.

I don't care exactly what she said. It was apparently enough to get her dismissed. They were told not to talk about the case. Period. It wasn't "don't talk a lot" or "don't tell the media anything" or "don't talk when you're drunk"

there's not a lot of grey area when jurors are told not to talk about a case.

You'd be surprised. It could have been just a precautionary measure if whatever she did APPEARED to MAYBE have been a problem or, God forbid, be an appellate issue. They have plenty of alternates so it very may well have been precautionary. Things can appear to be very innocent and the juror not having a clue anything they might do could cause a problem. Let's wait and see what comes out, ya know.

Not to mention, the judge was DENYING the Defense motion for mistrial so this may have been a way of throwing them a bone, so to speak.

I have worked in the legal field for 14 years now. It happens.

Didn't Jodi say on the recording that Travis woke her up by pulling down her pants and then performed oral on her and that is how he woke her up? Or was this another time? If this is the same timeframe her story on the tape differs from the story she told ALV.

I wondered that too. I'm thinking it's maybe tears of relief, or to release tension and anger. They had just been in judges chambers with attorneys and Jodi. Must have been extremely rough. JMHO Defense calling for a mistrial would have been scary to think about for them...

This is the most bogus expert testimony I've ever heard. I hope ALV is torn to shreds on cross.
I'm expecting a juror to go down every day she stays on the stand.

You know something bothers me about the hearing this morning. They have this lady, Jury #5, appear at 9:15 AM PST. She has been a responsible juror. Yet, they choose to have this hearing all morning, holding everything up; then, to make it worse embarrass this lady escorting her out of the building!!!

This hearing could have been done at the end of today's trial session, and the county clerk (whomever would do this sort of thing) would call at her home informing of the dismissal and why.

Jury #5 would not have been humiliated in front of the other jurors and general people waiting to start this trial. I hold the Judge responsible for this ma-lay.
