Different motives

I don't believe we know the motive of this shooting yet.

Far too soon to tell for sure, but a revenge motive begins to make more sense (as if anything could make sense) as to the target in such a small town.

The tactical gear reported clearly says he planned this well. He may not have intended to die ("suicide by cop") since he fled.

Multiple reports he "reloaded"-- that could be a pause heard in firing sounds. 27 dead and 20 injured indicates a pretty high rate of fire, understanding that most shooters have less than 50% accuracy. Probably in excess of 100 rounds, by my guess.

Depends on what kind of weapon/s he had, magazine capacity, etc. Long rifle vs handgun. etc. Most handguns have 6-17 round capacity. Long semi auto rifles can have a lot more.

If its the white SUV in the corner of the hay field with the body-shaped white sheet on the ground next to it, I'm guessing that's the one. News Chopper not "zooming in" for the usual reasons.
