Yes, I can see that might be why he'd try and answer those accusations.

But I am not 100% convinced all those claims are off base.

A few things seem odd to me--as someone mentioned, they have so many inside cameras. But I wonder why not an alarm system then?

And how did he get inside, if no forced entry?

Why no missing person report until 11 am?

Unanswered questions that niggle at me still.

Online cams are as cheap as $10, including night vision. A security system connected to alarms and that notifies police of a breach in the system costs much more, a sensor must be purchased for each window and door, and there are monthly fees as well.
From news videos, here’s some stills of windows in the house where the child stayed. One window has broken glass but not broken enough for someone to enter, there are no screens and a sheet is used as a drape, I doubt they can afford a security system. Who knows if the windows and doors were even locked?
Maybe the cameras were to monitor people in the house, not so much people breaking in from outside.

But the affidavit is not clear about how Brown got into the house in the 7500 block of Florina Parkway, what a motive would be for his alleged actions and what if any relationship Brown had to anyone in the house.

If the bio dad had primary custody wouldn't it be legal for Cash and his brother to live with the girlfriend ?
Unless the bio dad was no longer living there, in which case it would have been a matter of time before the bio mom went to civil/family court to take them back.

‘Dallas Police homicide detectives are putting together their case against an 18-year-old man, which may include a possible murder weapon according to court documents obtained Monday night by CBS 11 News.

Dallas Police say 18-year-old Derriynn Brown is the prime suspect.

He has already been charged with kidnapping and burglary at the home eight blocks away on Florina Parkway where the child was sleeping.

That’s where detectives located “…a tissue paper in a bathroom that had blood drops on it. A small pocket knife was also located and seized.”

So what are they thinking? DB breaks into the house, kills little Cash and then throws away a bloody tissue and pocket knife in the bathroom before he leaves with the boy??? Hmmm....

Yeah, you would think that even if he left, he would contact when he finds out his son was killed. But then again, if he split and left them, he would probably not care. But none of it adds up...... and no one in the neighborhood or school thought it was odd these babies showed up? Were they in school, like the older ones? All so weird!!

This^^^ article is labelling Kameron Mori as Cash's 'brother.' But that is incorrect. Kameron is the son of the woman who was babysitting the twins. She calls herself their mom but that is incorrect.

I think a lot of why things don’t make sense is shoddy reporting, the press seemingly has the arrest affidavit and they definitely have a search warrant affidavit for MS’ home where the twins stayed, but they are interpreting things in different ways.
One news video from CBSDFW.com briefly showed the first page of the search warrant affidavit and I took a still but there’s not really anything there to clear things up.

Everytime I think I can't possibly come across a more horrifying case there it goes...It just absolutely terrifies me that this precious boy lay dead in the street....he was failed on so many levels,there is something so eerie about this case ....I wonder if the baby was even alive when he was picked up...and all the trauma his twin has to live on with,apparently the bio mom has to have lost custody for some reason then to be abandoned by the father and your brother is murdered under the most horrific circumstances...I just can't even stand it...

There’s much unknown. We don’t know mom lost custody. We don’t know dad abandoned them.

Maybe he had a crib with a few bars removed and they just had not converted it into an actual bed (without any bars) yet. Even if it still had all of the bars, I don't see a big issue personally. Maybe the kids like it that way.

Like others, my questions are
where is their father, what is the custody situation, did his caregiver care about and take decent care of the kids, and why wasn't he reported missing earlier in the morning?
