Dunn told Sotelo that her daughter had never left for the night without saying where she was going, and never sneaked out of the house.

I never knew my son use to sneak out of the house either in the middle of the night. I didn't find out until he was an adult as I saw some pictures of him at a party with some of his high school friends. This is when I found out. He would wait until I was asleep and then just open the window and stepped right outside and left. We lived on the first floor in a garden apartment.

Heck, when I was a teen, I would sneak out of the house too!

Interesting comments here by someone who's husband works where SA did, says there was no argument, he just walked in and quit......FWIW.

Thanks to lynnb who is keeping me caught up today, lol!

My problem with this is sometimes people just make up things so they look like they know something. It may all be true but I know when my daughter was missing, kids called telling me she called them and texted them. None of it was true. I have the phone records. All they did was have us going in circles. So I tend to take what others say they know with a grain of salt. I wish LE would give some kind of presser to at least distinguish between fact and fiction. JMO

I went and snagged this directly off of the site. It doesn't say both sets of parents. It just says her parents.

Cripes, there's enough crappy reporting going on without adding to it! JMO

Plus, there aren't two sets of parents here. There are significant others or a boyfriend and a girlfriend. Again, JMO.

Sparky dean is with DPS, that would be the State of Texas. The Rangers are the investigative branch of the Department of Public Safety- DPS

Sparky is not local to Colorado City, he is out of Abilene DPS headquarters.

During a news conference Monday, Kampfer said authorities are working two angles; one being that Hailey is a missing person who is alive
