I've researched and will do more research on the Rhodes guy.. And I do realize the case doesn't match up a 100% but I also know every serial killer had to start somewhere .. And if the truck he was in in the 70s belonged to a trucking company .. It would be hard to have a "torture chamber" in a truck the company did repairs Ect .. Rhodes may not be the one..and there are some descrempancies in relation to his other murder.. But there are also similarities .. And worth a look
I've always found it strangely interesting , that with my experience I have never been able to find anything on truck driver James Rhodes . The driver that found our girl... I've researched him multiple times, even obituaries .. And it's like he fell off the earth after locating our girl.. So again tonight o looked for him on social media (only find a piano player) I googled him using other terms such as "Friendship Texas" (his reported home in November 1980)
Friendswood is the town name that I've seen associated with the truck driver who found her, plus Rhoades is the spelling of the surname I've seen most used. Searching James Rhoades + Friendswood gets a Jimmy R Rhodes (no a) who used to live in Friendswood TX, age 65+, so old enough but the name is off.
Links where Friendswood + Rhoades are mentioned:

Searching "Friendswood" on Websleuths shows the town has been associated with the Texas Killing Fields because of Laura Smither's murder there in 1997. William Reece is considered a good suspect in the Smithers murder because he was working in the town at the time and is associated with abduction and murder elsewhere. In September he was charged with a 1997 murder in Oklahoma:

I am sorry I have not been around to help with this. I have recently been diagnosed with a serious brain condition. I have Arnold Chiari Malformation type 1. The time that I have been able to get online has been spent getting things set up to go see the surgeon to see if I am a candidate for the surgery, researching the condition, and fundraising to make sure that I can go and get this taken care of.
Hopefully soon I will be able to come back and spend more time helping with this case as this case has really reached out and touched me. I want to see her have her name back.

"Entered on" would be the date the actually arrived at a TDCJ intake facility .. Meaning when whatever county jail transported and actually dropped them at an intake facility.. Some times convicts are transported immediately sometimes they spend a awhile in county before transport..I found it: http://www.texastribune.org/library/data/texas-prisons/units/ellis/
So I'm assuming "Entered On" would indicate the date of arrest?
ETA: I looked through 12 pages of inmates and nothing. I couldn't even find anyone arrested before 1982.
Is it Friendswood or Friendship? I find a few mentions of the driver living in Friendswood but none mentioning Friendship.
