5/22/20 Vanessa Guillen's family loves her, misses, her, and most of all wants her back.
Also added, is a translation from Spanish, of what Vanessa's Mom said at the 5/21 presser.
Mom claims a sergeant was sexually harassing Vanessa and that Vanessa was afraid to tell.
I can certainly believe Vanessa was being sexually harassed. My granddaughter was Air Force Security Forces (military police) at Lackland AFB, then at Osan in Korea. Harassing does happen especially when a female is in a position usually occupied by a male. Know when the harassing stopped at Osan? When SHE was the one sitting on top of the jeep with the really big swivel gun while patrolling. She met her future husband over there and got out of the Air Force when she became pregnant.
Vanessa was a small arms repairer. She probably got a lot of razzing because of her position which most might think of as a male position. And of course any guy could see how pretty and tiny she was at 5'2". I am so not surprised Vanessa would be reluctant to report this person if the harassment was going on and he was of higher rank.
She might have gone along with that person so as not to make him mad, or maybe DID refuse him and now she is missing.
I still believe the person responsible will be an older, married man of superior rank.
